Can we get a sub-forum for Josh Wink please? There hasn't been a better dj over the last couple of years and he has been gracious enough to share plenty with us. The guy has been cemented as untouchable.

Couldn't agree more.

Re: Request Subforum for Wink

I reckon we should get a sub forum for every DJ

LOL, no. Wink is better than any of those who already have a subforum, therefore he should have one. You have to be better than the list above and if you are not, then you don't get a subforum.

pesonally I don't think any DJ should have a sub forum. Maybe one for Hernan's radio show and another for Transitions, but every thing else should just be thrown in together.

that's a bit subjective.

hell yeah, and it's not even close. especially over the last 3 years.

Re: Request Subforum for Wink

and it's definitely not subjective if you have any kind of ear for EDM. the guy is out there murdering city after city and still making it accessible to those who can't attend week in and week out. digweed is nice when he puts his live sets out, but what is that like usually 4-6 times per year. sasha less than that. i'm not faulting them either, that is their right. just sayin' that NO ONE is out there doing more for the scene, shredding and still making it accessible for everyone = wink. not to mention his sets, style (mixture of gay house, house, tech-house, techno, minimal and sporadic progressive) is much more eclectic than any of the others listed. guy is a st8 up machine and is better than both sasha and digweed (which no one else is).

Re: Request Subforum for Wink

and what about all those unknown local DJs out there, murdering their local cities with amazing quality sets, surely they deserve sub-forums for their promo mixes as well? I know a ton of people in Denver and Pittsburgh that fly under the radar, but are doing much more for their hometown scene rather than travelling the globe and playing exotic locations and earning $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ a night.

sorry dude, but it really is subjective. one man's awesome DJ, is another's shit stain.

Re: Request Subforum for Wink

I'm sorry, rion, but no new subforums are going to be added. All of the subforums that exist today existed before our DJ Database. Now that the DJ Database exists, subforums are no longer needed. You can subscribe to Josh Wink if you click the link, then you'll be alerted any time a new set is posted for him.

Re: Request Subforum for Wink

Actually it's only in the past 1-2 years that I see an increased frequency of Wink sets. I remember a time when you would hardly see any.

But it IS subjective seeing as you're the only one asking for a Wink subforum

Re: Request Subforum for Wink

Josh has been bang on the money - his Profound Sounds show (a live one hour set each week) is superbly crafted.

But the DJ database easily picks up his sets ... still waiting for the Dundee Reading Rooms show to appear from Saturday's broadcast though.

Re: Request Subforum for Wink

I guess this request came about because there´s like 2 new Wink sets every week.

Seriously, I love the guy, seen him a few months ago and he was great, but talk about devaluating your property...
