2200 airmen? I thought the US said there is not going to be any ground troop commitment.

this isn't the source i saw, but if you google '2200 us troops to libya' (based on what i remember the number being) there are several blogs reporting that a news outlet said there ARE marines going to libya. its either bad reporting or news the white house did not want to escape.
