If Obama were to call for an unjust war based on lies as done by Bush & Co, then you could pretty much guarantee that huge protests all over the place would have followed.
When push come to shove, both parties will always agree on things which ultimately fill pockets and minds of their masters.
Happens here in Australia and I'm pretty sure it happens that way also in the UK.
