Re: Texas Republican Apologizes to BP
It’s nothing to do with opinion, its to do with can Obama legally extract money from a corporation without following any due process? I’d like to hear Toasty’s answer on this! If the answer is yes can someone give me an example of this happening in the past?
Why would you even be against this at all? From all of your previous posts about India etc you are pissed at big corp shitting on the little guy and getting away with it. If they actually follow through with this promise it would be something good for the little guy, what is so wrong with that? You want this to go the way of Exxon Valdez and it be 10 years until anyone sees any money? Or is it just because you are so pissed at the US therfore everything the gov't does is automatically wrong in your eyes?

I'd like to apologize to all the Fisherman who's lives are being ruined and animals killed, and ecosystems threatened for the Texas Republican's apology to BP. I'm sorry, but BP deserves any of the shit that get's thrown at them 10 fold.

I’m not against BP paying to clear up the mess. I just don’t think handing over cash on Obama’s say so is the way to do it. What’s the betting a year two years down the line some of that 20 billion just disappears? And some of the people the money is supposed to benefit get next to nothing

Re: Texas Republican Apologizes to BP

I don't know about anybody else, but those commercials showing BP as caring and helping the fisherman kinda makes my ass pucker up. If you care about them so much BP, then why the hell are you telling them they can NOT use their own respirators and masks, but they can ONLY use your things or you will basically cut them off from helping cleaning up the spill? That commercials sincerity is joke.

Let's see how much of that 20 billion actually makes it to people, or if it's just a load of crap that will somehow get screwed up.

So you think they've already paid out enough for all the damage? Quit being deliberately ignorant.
No I would like to see how they came to the figure
Since they haven't paid anywhere near $60 billion your point is irrelevant.
Tell me res0 how many people died
Also irrelevant.

Do you try to make up nonsensical shit just because you've run out of ways to try and hate on the Good Olde' USA? Umad?

Anybody who eats the fish from the Gulf has a death wish. There's also a preponderance of chemical poisoning sickness (prolonged respiratory issues, rashes, nausea) for those near the shoreline.
