He says, " I have doubts about the bill. I do not think it is a first step toward anything I have supported in the past. This is not the bill I wanted to support, even as I continue efforts until the last minute to modify the bill.

Re: Kucinich votes yes for Health Bill.

it's not called politics it's calle dbeing a sellout.

"Selling out" refers to the compromising of one's integrity, morality and principles in exchange for money, "success" (however defined) or personal gain. It is commonly associated with attempts to tailor material to a mainstream audience. A person who does this, as opposed to continuing along his or her original path, is labelled a sellout, and typically regarded with disdain. Selling out is often seen as gaining success at the cost of credibility.

It would be like Lee Burridge playing Britney Spears all night after meeting with Britney's manager.

Re: Kucinich votes yes for Health Bill.

Let me bring this back to real world politics in the United States where no one ever gets everything s/he wants.

Compromise

To compromise is to make a deal where someone gives up part of, or all of its demand. In arguments, compromise is a concept of finding agreement through communication, through a mutual acceptance of terms—often involving variations from an original goal or desire. Extremism is often considered as antonym to compromise, which, depending on context, may be associated with concepts of balance, tolerance. In the negative connotation, compromise may be referred to as capitulation, referring to a "surrender" of objectives, principles, or materiale, in the process of negotiating an agreement. In human relationships "compromise" is frequently said to be an agreement that no party is happy with, this is because the parties involved often feel that they either gave away too much or that they received too little[1].

Re: Kucinich votes yes for Health Bill.

says nothing in compromise about selling your soul.. That is what Kucinich did. He even admitted he still doesn't like the Health Bill, but he is doing this probably because of black mail. Either way he is a sellout.

Before he got on the plane it was no.. he got off and it was yes.

Also compromise between the Republicans and Dems.. What compromise are you talking about Dems with Dems?

This bill is going to destroy Health Care.

Blackmail? Probably not.

Bribed? Much more likely.
