This true movement is on the up and up. Words of truth, freedom, and end the fed are resonating in the ears of more and more americans. What a great sign for things to actually change in the future. The worse it gets out there in the market the stronger this party will become. You see this is not Palin's fake tea party movement. Ron Paul is the real deal of the movement.

Because my 2nd grade teacher Mrs. Boscariol taught me for my first speech ever that you don't want to read from your cue cards because it makes the speech look tacky and boring.. Also not believable.

If I go into a meeting and just read my powerpoint word for word people wonder "does this guy know what he is talking about??"

giving a speech to only a camera or a captive audience who you do not let interrupt you for questions from your podium != giving a powerpoint presentation that you need to reference while you are talking. thats the difference im sure your teacher would also agree with.

i think this type of discussion is only an issue with those who are just trying to find anything about obama to bitch about because they need something to use to try and make him look like he is ignorant/not doing his job.

I actually really like Ron Paul. I don't agree with him on everything, or even a lot of things, but there is no question that he's beholden to no one, and that he does what he does based upon principle. Hard not to like that.

Here's some reality, though -- Ron Paul winning this sort of event shouldn't be surprising, nor should the GOP/Fox's attempts to downplay the fact that he won. He routinely outperforms expectations in this sort of environment, even though the establishment/Fox try to marginalize him. It hasn't translated into votes at the ballot box for him yet, though, despite past success, so let's not read too much into this.
