in my county, they are giving 184 MILLION to a lab for a new "partical accelerator" when this lab has already CONTAMINATED OUR SOIL AND WATER TABLE. why arent fundss being used to clean it up>?
and to really be disgusted at the spending, look at what is allocated to NYC, specifically in terms of spending vs labor jobs created. ppl in the mid west would kill to get these funds, and there, it would create 5 times the jobs, instead of funding the local 3 vacation funds.
