I have some new information that I would like to share with everyone here.

The first thing I have posted is an interview with Sister Teresa Forcades who is a doctor in internal medicine and has a Phd in Public Health from Barcelona. She gives her expert advice to not take the swine flu shot for many reasons. This is the best and most educated person I have heard discuss this issue so far. It is an hour long but you really only have to watch the first 20-30mins to get it. She brings up the story as well about Baxter Pharma sending 72 Kilos of live bird flu mixed with the seasonal flu to several countries as a vaccine.

The second thing is a discussion from the Council on Foreign Relations about how to better market and advertise the swine flu vaccine. They discuss many things but the one that striked me was that they discussed spreading on the media that there is a shortage of the vaccine so get it early. What else strikes me is how much they laugh in the video about this topic.

Re: Swine Flu Update Thread

I have never taken a flu shot, and will never take one. I'm strongly against any of these shots. Thanks for sharing runningman.

Re: Swine Flu Update Thread

Here is a link to the side effects caused by the vaccine. There are the brochures from the company with the odds of getting the effects. I put some below from the Pandremix shot. If you get swine flu you are safer than if you got the seasonal flu.

Rare (affects 1 to 10 users in 10,000) < which means 1 in 1000

• Allergic reactions leading to a dangerous decrease of blood pressure, which, if untreated, may lead to shock. Doctors are aware of this possibility and have emergency treatment available for use in such cases. • Fits • Severe stabbing or throbbing pain along one or more nerves • Low blood platelet count which can result in bleeding or bruising

Very rare (affects less than 1 user in 10,000)

• Vasculitis (inflammation of the blood vessels which can cause skin rashes, joint pain and kidney problems) • Neurological disorders such as encephalomyelitis (inflammation of the central nervous system), neuritis (inflammation of nerves) and a type of paralysis known a Guillain-Barré Syndrome

Of course these numbers are just a guess since they don't have a fucking clue. That means that in my populaion of 350,000 at least 35 people will get guillian barre and at least another 350 people will get a dangerous drop in blood pressure and could die. What a joke this is..

Re: Swine Flu Update Thread

the so-called "pandemic" is seemingly waning in the US. Either way in my area, vaccines have been few and far between. By the time they ship it en masse (if they even do), the season will basically be over.

Re: Swine Flu Update Thread

at least he'll apparently be able to recover OK

I can't wait to see reports of others who won't or get crippled.

1976 redux if so...fuck. Meanwhile, my mom who's a hospital nurse keeps thinking I don't know shit and wants me to get the damn vaccine "when it comes"...she apparently has no clue about 1976 or just forgot or something...

stay strong and don't get it. sometimes mothers are blinded by their emotions and make horrible decisions based on love not science (Or lack of science in this case)
