Has anyone seen the footage of the Nazi Police there? Wow I can't believe that is in Pittsburgh, looks lke something out of a USSR or Nazi movie. Since you won't see very much of it on the mainstream I will post links.

They used direct energy weapons as well as LRAD and the usual tear gas.

This one is my favorite when army guys show up in unmarked car and take someone away like in China.

I love how the guys in camo are supposed to be Police. They are obviously battle hardened troops from Iraq. Let us not forget that the police uses Agent Provocateurs to escalate the situation.

This happened in Canada in 2007 during the Montebello summit

Re: The G20 Summit Protests

No you should check out the independent interviews. Pepper spraying people as the police ride by on bikes. Just stupid shit.

Re: The G20 Summit Protests

my question is that why do the hardcore liberals on this board shy away from things like this? My point was that I am more concerned with Progressive Liberals then I was of the Neo Cons.

Re: The G20 Summit Protests

^do u consider yourself to be moderately to the right?

and your concern with the liberals has what to do with the tear gas being hurled at protestors on these videos?

Re: The G20 Summit Protests

i say bullshit on those videos, the first you cannot even tell why the fuck are they picking the dude up, maybe he was an agitator, plus, that shit about the "unmarked vehicle" is also bullshit, first its a GrandMarquis which are most of the times goverment issued vehicles and second just by the vehicle you cannot tell if it has license plates.

on that third video you can clearly see that they got what they were asking for, the maybe 100 peeps crowd is just backing down utill some dude starts throwing stones, then the cops react with the tear gas.

again, i would say all of these videos are bullshit, mostly recorded by the students that are part of these protests to make the authorities look bad, yet they acomplish nothing because the biggest crowd you can see in there is maybe at the most 100 peeps.

these "g20 summit" protest are basically normal around the world, everytime we see one of these summits we see the protest, only this time they are not even gathering that much people, thus the lack of interest from the mainstream media.

Re: The G20 Summit Protests

Probably the reason no one has anything to say because these protests always happen every time the G20 meets, it's nothing new. And a lot of these protesters are self-described anarchists and similar anti-capitalist zealot wackos... they're generally young, dumb kids and no one really takes them seriously.

And guess what? When you throw rocks at the cops and provoke them, they're gonna beat your ass.

Yeah or like this fella, killed by the police when the summit was held in London - I didn't see him throw any rocks but he did have the audacity to walk home from work that day and mind his own business, 10 minutes after this video was made he'd died.

Re: The G20 Summit Protests

Bob people like you and me and some others on here know that the absolute power corrupts absolute. When you give these police (aka troops) a license to kill and assault the outcome should be apparent. But unfortunetly some people on here are gov't perma fans.

Re: The G20 Summit Protests

I think governments in control of (now militarised) police forces whilst also controlling large sections of media is very dangerous indeed. Like you say, if this was in China or North Korea the western media (and those who can't see past it) would be lapping it up in their usual gloating way. The right to peaceful protest is well and truly dead in this country and the laws have been changed accordingly. Where those laws still don't work, we can see that police have now been granted the power of invention where it suits them. Many people who would wish to protest peacefully or simply air their views are now too intimidated to do so. If that doesn't scare you, it should.

what?? are you serious, not that long ago we were talking about the tea party protest, or wait a sec, those weren't peaceful protests? i mean they gathered a lot of people in there and most of them were very peaceful......

everybody knows that all of these G20 summit protest are always very violent, with some of this kids just doing really stupid things, its like watching the "dont tase me bro" video, even after cops have told you to walk away you come back with the "this is a free country, i can stand wherever i want" shit.

I can't speak for the tea party or the "tase me bro" thing, i said this country, meaning England

To my mind being able to stand wherever you want should be an accepted right in a free country (providing you are breaking no law) so to say "this is a free country, i can stand wherever i want"is far from shit.

IMO, The G20 represent the worst leaders on the plant. FYI, Petersburg police refused more than 18 request for peaceful protest and only approved 1 ?!

Bob, did is ever cross your mined with all the gov control and surveillance tools ( CCTV, Internet monitoring, TV....etc) what will happened if another Hitler pop-up in UK ?

All you need to have is one mad leader and he can turn it all inside out.

Yeah deffo. All the tools are there for them already. People here read and believe the sun newspaper ffs, they believe the bbc news. There are 20% of the world's cctv cameras on this tiny island where only 1% of the world's population live .

Far-right politics is in the ascendency and the "institutionally racist" met. have been totally unaccountable for their actions for a good number of years - all a very dangerous mixture potentially. Another Hitler popping up in the UK seems a bit far fetched, in this day and age surely someone couldn't come to power intent on starting needless wars, invading countries on a whim (against the wishes of the electorate) and doing everything possible to squash the dissenting voices that oppose him? Could they?

the Hitler thing could be happening right now. I mean except the holocaust as of yet. Remember the Germans loved Hitler.

Re: The G20 Summit Protests

and every other country loves his president, so dont really think that your whole "hittler was loved" analogy is gonna catch up any day now, even if you keep refering to it almost every day.
