This video shows people that first succeed in dragging a police officer from his motorcycle and setting it on fire, but then protect and even take care of the completely shaken guy. Fucking Ahmadinejad could learn something from this, but to the political elite the common people are mere cattle that need to be corrected rigorously when straying off the path.

Yep.

Funny thing in this video is that it makes all the more clear that the instruments of coercion (police in this case) the state has at its disposal are mostly also recruited from the same group they are expected to keep in check.

If only those people were more aware of the fact that the power they have been given to make you and me abide by the rules can also be used to make the political elite abide by the rules as well. The army in Turkey has gotten the point, for example.

......sickest thing about it all, is that all the news stories have disclaimers that the agencies are withholding all witness and reporter names for fear of reprisal, and that isnt an assumption, BBC and CNN are using thohse exact words.

wow, that is pretty cool they took care of the cop the way they did... do you think those helpful few represent the attitude of the masses during that riot or just a select few?
