Bulldoze in order to survive. What do you guys think of this?? A lot of talk about Flint, MI. What a hole that place is. I do believe a lot of places need to be reformed and restructured. Too many neighborhoods in cities that plague the growth.

I think there are certainly blighted cities in this country that need major rejuvenation.

makes sense to me too, why continue to have buildings up that have been empty for 30+ years?

they've built new ones.

Urban sprawl was a complete disaster in its decades-long "experiment." Michigan shows what happens when you have mass exodus. Not that every city will in fact do such even if it can, but it does show what CAN happen to certain places if it does.

urban renewal without wavering, and well planned rezoning ftw.

however, gentrification is a very controversial thing out here, especially in the inner city districts; ie, imperial court etc.

I like how they are giving the areas back to nature. That's a nice move.
