Re: Random thoughts

Salt Tank's Eugina is an amazing track and never fails to hit the emotional heart strings when I hear it. (Been listening to Corsten's e-mix this evening, and it's been good so far, definitely more mellow than what I would have expected....and some new remix of Eugina was just played.). Seriously, what a splendid track.

No seriously what the fuck is with the Ash cloud. Brother still stuck in Spain so many people are fucked over this. Biggest lockdown on flights in Europe in 70 years (since world war II apparently).

I'm obviously not handling the new format as well as I thought

Wouldn't mind seeing a little more about how people are being affected by this volcano aside from the flying problems.

Re: Random thoughts

well if you think about how good it is for the environment you will look past the fact that the planes aren't working.

 1. Global Dimming (cooling) because the clouds obfuscate the sunlight causing cooling
 2. The ash that comes down makes great fertilizer. Europe's dirt will be very rich in minerals and vitamins. They will probably grow better agriculture over the next couple years because of it. it will save the farmers money and europe will eat a better quality of food becasue of it.
#1362315Post 2862 of 8670

Re: Random thoughts

Well as long as its good for the dirt! Our produce is fine runningman and i would think that the Ash would have pumped worse shit into the atmosphere.

Don't see the positives myself. Business across Europe has been seriously affected plus their are tens of thousands of people stuck in foreign countrys running out of money, feel sorry for all the parents with young children. Massive backlog of passangers now so its a serious fuckup for everyone who has been put out.

You forgot the people !!! They have lost their farms, homes, the works, dimming wouldn't be global, and any dimming would be far outweighed by the fact that planes aren't flying. That was the one fact we know from 9/11

One example of how far reaching this will be. http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2010/apr/18/iceland-volcano-kenya-farmers

Ahh ash isn't great fertilizer? I think you are blowing this a little out of proportion. So what if they can't fly for a week. The long term results will be healthier soil. It is mother natures way of fixing things. The world isn't perfect. So they got laid off for a couple days. They probably needed the break. I'm sure they don't have the labor rules like we do in the Western world.

Also they haven't lost their farms or homes forever. Jeesh you make it sound like the end of the world.

no its because i only have one hour to do my workout during lunch and i come pumped up from my pre workout cocktail so i don't warm up properly

Re: Random thoughts

^I wasn't able to get out of bed for nearly a week from hurting my neck at the gym... in my case I was taking green tea extract and pretty sure my muscles were dehydrated and somehow managed to pinch a nerve... it's a lot of pain and no fun, that's for sure.

Re: Random thoughts

yeah i am taking a ton of shit...like 4 different supplements at any given time...I don't guess that all of it works but it keeps me pumped up like i can make a difference without steroids lol Just joking...its something my friend keeps telling me. Right now i take protein, glutamine, arginine and some pre-work out mix of loads of stimulants and amino acids...and of course omega 6,9 and multivitamins...its all about the balance as I always say...try and repair your body as much as you destroy it ...as you can tell i have destroyed it in the past :)

#1362620Post 2873 of 8670

Re: Random thoughts

In my case this was like 6 years ago, since then I've only taken protein. Funny you mention taking that many supp's, I was at GNC on Saturday and this skinny guy a little smaller than me purchased over $400 in supp's...

Re: Random thoughts

i took supps in h.s and college -- only for a few cycles; but lo, in reality, it's all quite mitigatble, and water weight.

it's good you are taking amino's/glutamine for repair, brother. all you really need is that, good diet, and a solid meal after work outs. imho.

you might injure yourself even more if ya continue utilizing supps. are do doing roids? andro? kre-alkyn? creatine? hgh? ... shit's temporary... in the end...

stretch thoroughly, and when lifting, hold breath; exhale vigorously upon release; excecute reps smooth and slowly... with all your might...

It is affecting far more than those people, totally aside from the flying issue. While It may not be that end of the world, It is going to make life a lot harder for a whole lot of people. A little compassion wouldn't go astray. Flippant remarks about ash being good fertiliser are pretty poor imo . May be mother natures way, but mother nature is actually not our friend . In fact she may must be a bit pissed off with us! Perhaps comment when you have checked out the situation a little more.
