It's club elitism. For me it is not what clubbing is about. People get turned away because they are more interested in music than clothes. Then others get in who want to stand around at the bar posing.

no standing around the bar posing there man, they actually try to do that to make sure people there are only for music and can handle this shit inside rather than just going as a tourist or coz heard about the place...and not everyone was in black inside btw, everyone trying to get in yes :)))
its a little too much yes but in the end the place inside is no fuckin joke, with a proper line up its fukin magic...good thing about it is that most dj's that play there are pumped for it and can go to sounds they dont usually play else where coz they feel the crowd is up to it...
stereo is a far trip too, but i havnt been and cant tell, but i think music played there is much different from berghain/pbar

I remember Digweed saying something similar about Twilo. I never believed his statement either. To this day, there isn't a single recording with a track on it that Digweed played exclusively at Twilo.
I can't say that I buy into this mythical clubber that can handle something a mere tourist can not. It's a nightclub, not an SAS training exercise.

i thought so too but berghain does kinda have this edge, its not all techno btw...well on berghain floor but the upstairs panorama bar plays different...weatherall was there, talabot, dinky, matthew dear, sasha was there before so u get the diversity of sound there....so is not techno unless you go downstairs...and handle as in no faancy shit, no table shit, people ending up with no clothes by end of third day, honestly ive never seen a club opening on saturday night and non stop music till monday noon...shit like that...no miami style bob your head wtf is going on in this place shit...forsure a random tourist going into the club might not handle many shit there, even someone thats been around might get that feel....its a heavy experience nontheless, an sas training might actually help :))

Flo opened a club lounge called 'Scat Muncha's' in Canada. Apparently there was a big apertitte for it. He is now too busy to waste time on forums now. They may be opening another club lounge in the New Year. I think that he is trying to get some of his actor friends involved in the project. And maybe take some pictures to post here soon.

It always amazes me who you can here a track on a Cd and it can not stand out. Then you here it on a different mix and it blows you away. I have just done it with these two tracks from the La Fabrica set which I totally missed on Danny Howells Balance.
