Driving the Tesla was goddam cool - extremely quiet, handles well, wouldn't know that you were driving an electric vehicle from the pick up and acceleration. Confirmed their reputation of being innovators.

However the Tesla X SUV is kind of a strange design (didn't get to drive it). The gullwing doors are a neat idea, however they're completely impractical for tight, indoor parking (like in a condo parking lot). I'm guessing that the estimated $150 K price tag might mean that they're looking more suburban home dwellers that downtown drivers that live in apartments or condos. Cabin space seemed a bit small too.

I thought the 2 hinge, sonar system remedied this? at least that's what Musk claims in the unveiling video. regardless, still badass technology. i've seen a bunch here in cntrl FL, not the X, the car.

The model we saw had the doors go up, but it seems like a wide arc - made me think that if you were in an underground parking lot that it could brush up against a closely parked car or a column quite easily, but that could be just perception of such an unusual door mechanism that is pretty rare on most vehicles.

Like I said, didn't get to drive it, got to look at it both inside and out - it's pretty impressive, but I didn't really think of it being competitive with larger sized SUVs. I get the feeling you're paying more for the technology than you are practicality. Just my take.

No, not buying a Tesla (way out of my price range) Just fortunate enough to be able to play and see automotive toys from time to time with my work. :)

Basically that scientific "facts" end up being revised as technology improves.... but it can be a slow process. So what I mean is, for the next 100 years, many of the scientific "facts" we know of will probably mostly remain constant, but in 300 years, many will be revised, and in 500+ years who knows?

I really like coffee and tea for their flavors but I don't like caffeine. It throws off my sleep schedules and also gives me headaches if I drink regularly and then stop. Anyone have alternative flavorful beverages that I might like?

Ronda's eye was probably taken off the ball a little lately with all the movie deals, celebrity status, media, photoshoots, and on and on... But the fight did go 2 rounds...

Went last year, I had the most fun not at the parties but rather just hanging in Playa Del Carmen. Most of the night parties I went to were massively oversold, zero crowd control, butts to nuts everywhere. The day parties were decent, with Solomon playing oceanside being the only memorable one of the week. I'll certainly go back to Playa, because it's a great city to visit, but of all the festivals i've been to BPM was my least favorite from a party standpoint.
