flickin through channels and came across this show "Monsters Inside Me" & the 2nd story was of a 16 yr old girl who went swimming in the St John's River in FL and one time got water up her nose; she had a brain eating amoeba (Naegleria fowleri) enter her brain and she died a week later, just after getting her driver's license. (her parents now distribute nose plugs to families on weekends in the summer) ........... next one in Tampa, triple E virus (which they're saying is mostly always from FL mosquitoes). Horrifying stories, horrific show, the doctors are all doing spinal taps too late & sending extremely sick kids home :(

this one lady, her son will be partially blind the rest of his life because she ate a normal portion of rare-cooked lamb in a restaurant that contained bacteria while she was in her first trimester of her pregnancy.

amazing any of us survive this world really with so many natural dangers (parasites, amoebas, fungus, bacteria)...... besides how people hurt each other.

I need to just turn this off, so much detailed animation, drama, medical info, hard to look away.:shock:

The "baby boomer" generation, as we call it here in the US, for as wonderful as they claim to be, they sure have been lousy examples for the sanctity of marriage. guys....I am pretty high now, but I was discharged from hospital a few hours ago for being in a car crash with out a seatbelt with a speeding driver...

my head was an inch or so from their boot and spoiler when ee made impact...I was still picking glass out of my ears after leaving the hospital for shock.

we had been driving for about 45 seconds tops.

I know I am the maniac on this site...but guys..please be safe and I rate you all highly.

the driver was an English guy who I beat in a bet because he said Scotland's currency was euro...so I guess I was looking for trouble..maybe he was pretending to be Australian..who knows..he had no insurance so he is fucked
