Random night time thought: There are those who don't want you in their life, let them go, find those who do, they are everywhere & they make life worth living. Letting those who think they're too good for you go is the hard part, you want to convince them you're good enough, but what they think is useless to you. The difficulty is just a sign of redirection, see the signs & follow. The signs all say stop. It's worth it to let go because then you can value, in contrast, those who want you all the more. And they get double your love; making life awesome all around! Where you're unappreciated, let them go. Where you're judged, let them go. Where you only receive angst & heartache, really let those go. And massive ego maniacs, the narcissists who think of themselves always first, but tell everyone they care about others, you know who they are, let them go & don't look back. You can't fix them, change them, or help them, so let them go on their way. No one is worth your sadness or self doubt, no one. Go only where it feels good, where you feel lifted, liked, appreciated, and loved. Stay focused in that direction of joy. Joy is your direction, always. There is no lesson to learn, no fight to fight, no test to pass. Just follow your bliss, your joy and your happy heart. It will lead you if you let it. When your heart tells you to let them go, follow that path. Not one more ounce of effort in that direction. That's the greatest gift you can give yourself and everyone who knows you. They'll get double your love. Just read the signs. The misalignment isn't worth it, ride down the easy stream of life and flow, without bumping into rocks, hard heads, and closed minds. Stop making the call, writing the letter, sending the card, trying at all, just stop all momentum and set your mind free.

Disagree. Didn't your photography career come pretty damn easily you said, and isn't it worth a damn? Easy flows all the goodness in life, like pieces of a puzzle fitting all together with ease, like a day when everything just goes right for you exactly according to your tastes. Just because something is difficult doesn't increase it's value. It's value is inherent in it's being. you know this.

yes and no. had I not busted my ass for 5 years leading up to picking up a camera, no way would i have a career in it.

Awesome, kick ass tune.

Pretty amazing to hear kids covering 70's like Dylan and Eagles, both technically challenging and advanced for younger players. I guess Rock Band (that xbox game) is going to make everyone a rock star.
