^Age difference was an issue 32/40, I felt we had very little in common, after the meal she wanted me to go back to her place for coffee and sex.

I said no as i feel that you have to have a connection/ spark which i felt there was none.

Maybe i'm too old fashioned or just not sure how to date anymore.

My last serious date was in 1992 when i was dating my then to be wife.

My friends all think i'm a pussy but i seem to have this internal moral code that i won't cross unless there is something there.:oops:

I used to go out with a guy a few years ago who said that even if your moral code is that you don't sleep with people with blue eyes, you have to stick by that moral code. He was very right !! :D

^ don't do it. dating is overrated. i've come to realize that most (please note that i am stating most - not all) people these days are only interested in either sex or what you can do for them.

i've decided to only have sex and not date period; i have found that there is much less disappointment this way as (again, i say most, not all) most do not believe in morals. unfortunately we now live in the age of instant gratification and morals have taken a back seat to people getting what they want right now. i suppose i am guilty of this as well by opinion of not dating. don't get me wrong, i would enjoy finding someone to be devoted to myself, but it is very difficult these days to find someone who can fit into our standards.
