Re: The Holy Trinity's random thoughts?

I've been starting to eat really healthy lately. Very little processed foods and lots of fruits, vegetables, fish, and chicken. Feels good to eat healthy. :)

keep the carbs, but lesson the amount of empty processed carbs - crackers, sweets, breads (switched to sprouted whole grain bread and use sparingly.) Increase the muscle mass (which burns fat) and add cardio to your non weight lighting days.

probably should have more than 'low fat' if you're nixing the carbs (assuming you mean processed carbs, not as in carbs derived from brocolli, vegetables, etc...)

Deep Dish's GU:Toronto is dogshit. The fuck were they thinking? Although they have some decent tunes on there (not all of them), the actual mixing and track sequencing is bullshit.

They seemed to have seriously not given a fuck at all. Hell, the Afterhours Cd's are way, way better than this piece of turd.

What the hell happened to them?

Doing exactly that in terms of cutting out carbs - getting them now from fruit and veg.

Thanks to Kat for some excellent advice.

Florida - play squash 3 days a week - no gymming at all on my agenda

I liked both cd around 2006 - during my trippy times so may not have noticed the mixing etc:oops:

I despise the gym, I'm not suggesting to go to one. Pushups build muscle, so do squats and pullups.

#1615373Post 5622 of 8670

Re: The Holy Trinity's random thoughts?

I've never gone to the gym but I've lost a lot of weight and gained some muscle just doing bodyweight exercises regularly this year. Pushups, pull ups, squats, leg lifts.

Kat PM me what you sent Nick.

Actually just copy and paste it.

Need to whip harder on my diet.

Going veg is possibly one of the best things I've ever done in my life.
I liked both cd around 2006 - during my trippy times so may not have noticed the mixing etc:oops:
I'm comparing it to Digweed's, Sasha's, Seaman's, etc....their mixing. I've listened through both cd's several times now and half of the mixes sound like they're simply slamming the crossfader.

I'm sure both Cds sounded great in 06 since those tunes were pretty hot back then (still are, too. imho, anything on shinichi is timeless, and many on yoshitoshi are too.)

Re: The Holy Trinity's random thoughts?

^ Sounds nice, what are you talking about though?

I'm going to be driving up from San Diego to San Francisco in a month, which is about 8 hours non stop. I'm either going to listen to Hernan Cattaneo's - Club Yellow 2008 or Danny Howell's - Arc 2004, both 10 hours. I haven't heard either before. :P Anyone have other marathon set recommendations?
