Well after signing a 21 year agreement with a communist corporation freedom tower has changed its name to one world trade center. Pataki isnt having any of it and wants the name to stay the same. Apparently the 64th floor will be called the China center.

Re: Freedom Tower no longer

Well, if they decide to drop the "Freedom" from the name, I think that's pretty fucked up, particularly if we're bowing to Chinese pressure to do so. Apart from the fact that George W Bush rendered it an utterly meaningless term, who has a problem with "freedom?" Like, "Sure, I'll sign that lease, but only if you take that retched 'freedom' out of the title." WTF?

With that said, however, I don't think we can really get too upset that something called the CHINA Center exists in something called the "WORLD Trade Center." You know, "WORLD," as in "from all over the" and "TRADE" as in "businesses and industries."
