Re: what will we fight about when obama wins?

im gonna go witht he obvious answer and say "everything he does wrong" just like every admin. chloe, be smart, the guy isnt gonna "save" shit. the US govt is defunct. it will get better, slightly better than a mccain admin, but comon. this mook aint gonna do anything but piss off a load of people just like every pres before him.

highlights to look forward to

tax plans what does he do when the money leaves america in a few months how will he handle major labor unions that are killing their industries (us. auto, aviation, major construction) how will he get teh economy back when those in control will gut it alive in front of him how soon can we get ppl out of Iraq, and what of bin laden and taliban when the health insurandce plan fails (it will, free market economy prevents both of thier ideas), how will he get health care to ppl when doctors dont have to serve them. immigration free market trade with the superior asain nations(will he deny us thier goods and force us to use us made shite) drug trade vs decriminalization of marajuana laws pharmacology and stem cell how does he plan on handling iran if they keep up rhetoric gaza

Re: what will we fight about when obama wins?

u actually hate palin more than i do, which is something, cuz i'd gut that bitch if given legal repreive. but comon. obama isnt anything special, he just isnt bush. he lacks any viable plans, no backround (118 days in senate), still has the monkey on the back in pelosi and barney frank.

america fucked itself royally over the last year and a half.

Re: what will we fight about when obama wins?

yea no, i don't feel that way. i don't think obama is a bad guy, nor do i think he's going to do a bad job. i think he's got great ideas and i think he's got the drive and the ability to change our nation. having a pessimistic view on change is only going to hold us all back.

america has been fucked for a lot longer than a year and 1/2.

if he is liberal then fuck yes! i hope people realize that fear, intolerance, and hate gets you no where and sure does get you in the predicament we are in now.

its amazing to me how people can make being liberal out to be a bad thing. ooohh god you are openminded and think that everyone should have the opportunity and ability to live freely without ramifications from god!!! oh no!!!!

and yes i'd love to gouge out palins eye balls and replace them with glowsticks.

Re: what will we fight about when obama wins?

There'll be plenty to argue about. If Obama really pushes change then we'll be arguing about the policies he and the Democratic Congress will be changing. There's too many problems and issues in the world to not discuss.

Re: what will we fight about when obama wins?

Chloe, i agree, "fear, intolerance, and hate" doesn't get anyone anywhere. Too bad it doesn't attract businesses, allow people to keep more of the wealth they have earned, provide more incentives to start businesses and hire people, and so on....

i honestly can't wait to start bitching about obama. it's a shame I have to wait till the election is over. I feel like a shark in a pool of ground beef. NOM NOM NOM here we come!

throwing the god factor out cuz i dont care about religion, but its amazing how being called a conservative is a bad thing. (this arguement ignores bush, he is a democrat with religious conservative ideals, just look at how he works in every aspect)

whats bad about limiting gov't low taxes enabling instead of handing out

my point is that if we (the collective US) dont realize that there is a happy medium where regan's conservatism and clinton's democratic ideals of relations, and social responsibility meet, then we will continue along the road to failure. we are well on our way, and its only gonna get worse, and yes, worse means, in two years from now, we likely will be in a worse national position then yesterday. we really need to push some alternative ideas into gov't or that faggot barney frank will sit on his ass on the finance committee watching this place down down the drain and ppl like bush will continue to thumb thier noses at nations we should be looking at as partners. we're done for. book it, write it down, im right.

while i dont go there, i have been lining up topics in MY DOCUMENTS about mccain and obama to throw at shosh and toasty when whomever gets elected fucks it up.

Re: what will we fight about when obama wins?

well it does attract business - my family owns a small business called easy street records and i think the reason we've been in business for 25 years is due to our friendliness, our products and our smarts.

maybe not big business, but it is a business.

before i joined the ranks of private equity management i was a small business accountant. hell, i have clients from MS, ask around. if your parents business makes decent money, to the point where maybe a new store opens, and thier profits jump above the 250 (not money to pocket, just receipts) do you realize thier income is about to have about a third of it taken away from them. ask your accountant.

while i am anti mccain, we cannot allow the obama taxation ideals to come about. the market itself will dictate this in the coming months. miroslav is echoing this is a less anti obama stance, ask him. the money people are shitting our pants right now and are about to run for cover because the shit is hitting the fan very very soon.

and quote un quote big business escapes most taxation anyway, as they must be given incentives to keep employment up. if they lose the tax incetives and credits, how do they keep operating? answer : layoffs

well because conservatism is usually full of intolerance, full of hate and fear and they act on the bad behaviors of the people by instilling that fear into the masses of people, which we've seen as palin says obama is a terrorist and then people actually believe that he is.

i think there is a happy medium, but that medium comes from conservatives opening up a bit and letting go of their personal beliefs and putting them on the entire nation. and that doesn't just go for 'god'. that goes for their ideas on rape, on prostitution, on marriage, on being gay. its a very intolerant group of people generally and you can not argue that.

nothing is wrong with lowering taxes, but hes not goin to do that for me. nothing is wrong with limiting government, but i don't see how the republcians have limited anything, all i feel they have done has been to be increasinly more interruptive in our lives. nothing is wrong with enabling, except that we don't enable. we can't even get our kids to school anymore.

dude no need to be a dick.

this is exactly the type of republican bullshit im talking about. why is it a bad thing???? ffs being friendly is exactly what we want and why we want to get the republicans out of office.

and no chance of making over 250 becuase like i said... we're a record store. but as i said before, if i did make that or our company did, then i would be happy to stand up like a woman and give my money to people i was helping becuase i am proud to be that sort of american.

this is exactly why common sense is about to cause a MAJOR split in the republican party. bush and his cronies unforunetly became a voice for something the party didnt normally embrace. he hijacked the party into territory that shouldnt have been. this whole religion nonsense has only been prevelent since him. the reagan years saw none of it, the congress during clinton avoided it. he ruined a great thing. but to be fair, you have to thank the middle east and its actions (militant islam and islamic gov't) for fostering these fires from the other side as well. the whole cartoon thing, taliban, iran, bin laden. there was a serious lack of opposing voices coming out of that area. it was almost like they didnt care.

totally.

hes made every single republican look like a intolerant dickhead imo. and palin isn't helping the situation at all.

i'm not being a dick. and, if you want to give money to people, that is your choice. kinda like abortion, let the individual decide. yeah? why does this not extend to taxes? don't force people to continue paying incredible amounts of money because they want to help. it makes them cynical about having to do so, and they begin to resent those that really do need such welfare. so long as people have to work three months of the year simply to send that money they've earned to other people, nobody is going to be happy or grateful.

which hopefully will lead to the rise of the libertarian party. people who beleive in conserative govt, and free will and choice.

uh huh. and i've said before in another thread that if i made that amount of money i'd like to see where it was going and i'd love to show you where that money would go and then maybe you and others would feel comfortable about it.

and we should do it on taxes atm, because a lot of people do not think like i do. they won't give money becuase what does it do for them? nothing really

i give money to pancreatic cancer research since that is what my mum died of, but i'm in no way wealthy and my 20 bucks won't go as far as someone elses 100 bucks.

Re: what will we fight about when obama wins?

people part with thousands of dollars a year to thier churches. americans are a very giving people. providing incentives to give, rather than demand taxes under threat of force, is the better option, always.

personally, i believe this should include foreign aid, too.

ive been saying that for years. this whole arrogance about never leaving iraq because we will be seen as losers is such bullshit.

we are in the middle of vietnam part 2, only this time we arent leaving..

#1114836Post 31 of 39

Re: what will we fight about when obama wins?

nothing to argue. When its over its over.

This might be a great thing for true conservatives. It will allow these politicians mostly rebuplicans to get back to their beliefs and strengthen the party. Right now, the way they have been especially on voting for the bailout, they are getting what they deserve.

We have some great guys who will lead the way in 4 yrs like Bobby Jindal and Pawlenty.

Re: what will we fight about when obama wins?

What are we going to fight about?

We'll be fighting about Obama moving into Pakiland if he sees fit. we'll be fighting if Obama isn't reducing spending while increasing government. We'll also be fighting if we keep hyperinflating the system while raising taxes and bailing out corporations (makes no dam sense at all). We'll be fighting if Obama over expands government. We'll be fighting if Obama actually ends up lowering my expectations of him.

the two are so distinctly different.

That's what it translates in to. -stan = land of, place, country of. I guess I should have said land of paki.
