This morning Theo van Gogh, a prominent Dutch columnist/play director/playwriter who was openly anti-Islam got shot 6 times, and stabbed a few times. The killer left the 2 knives in his belly, one had a note with Q'uranic verses and pinned it on his body.

2 years ago a right-winged politician got shot. Now this. I feel like I'm in a feckin 3rd world country now: they shoot you when they don't agree with your views. Nice. Getting some additional info now...

Perpetrator has 2 nationalities: Dutch & Moroccan. Muslim. A Letter has been pinned on the body.

yes. I am in shock too. apparantly saying what you think is getting very dangerous in the nederlands. i also didn't agree with van gogh's views on religions in general. and most certain not on his views of the Islam. But agree to disagree, or talk to each other, but killing someone for his views on life is disgracefull to say the least :evil:

it's very logical.....you can't say whatever you want whenever you want because on the other end there is always someone that can kick the shit out of you.....serves him right for not watching what he says......it's common sense practice now a days to not openly admit stupid shit like that...
