not that this should be suprising, but Obama is the biggest threat to Al-Qaeda's objectives right now, not that they haven't been mostly completed already.

Re: Al-Qaeda backs McCain?

nah. it's not reverse psychology. not if you understand what Al-Qaeda intended to do: they don't intend to wage a direct war with the united states, it has been continually stated by thier agents on al-jazeera and other websites is that thier intent is to financially bankrupt the united states by drawing them into long, drawn-out wars.

Machiavelli, imo...

They should be backing Obama if they support McCain. They should know that any endorsement they give will have the opposite effect over here.

I've long felt that terrorist organizations could do more to affect elections here in their favor by endorsing whatever non-Republican candidate and make it well known. Obviously they know that the Republican administration is good for them by continuing and exacerbating the conflicts in which they thrive and multiply.

Re: Al-Qaeda backs McCain?

by backing mccain they win both ways.

they've already managed to win the financial war they fought with the ticking time-bomb on our economy.

voting for mccain would, retroactively (though not likely at all) push people to Obama, to finally get the United States out of the Middle East. Which won't likley happen under Obama, but there you have it.

I guess what i'm saying is, why continue warring when the objective has been met?
