This is so rich, it deserves its own thread -- a republican group is trying to recruit Joe the Plumber to run for Congress:

Have the GOP not already fucked up this poor guy's life enough?

Re: Joe the Plumber, part II

dude. seriously. srsly.

he made a stronger argument for voting Republican than McCain, Palin, and everyone else who has attempted to do so over the last year and a half.

This is a bit much, having him run for congress (many MANY comments about having a plumber run for federal-level offices, oh the irony!), but good for him if he considers it. At least he isn't like me, bitching about it on a sliver of webspace in the internet universe. :)

Re: Joe the Plumber, part II

he can't fuck it up any worse than the career politicians who have been in there.

Re: Joe the Plumber, part II

I love how the media has done so much to try to discredit the guy, and has done more digging on him in the past 24 hours than the media has done with regards to Obama in the past two years.

I mean, come on! Let's send 300 reporters to Chicago to see what they can dig up: more information on William Ayers and the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, the Born Alive Act, Tony Rezko, Reverend Wright, etc.

oh i guess it's the liberal media's fault for not having dug deep enought into this scandal? Why not ask the Clintons. If anyone would have found anything, it would have been them.

That website did a fantastic job of masking the true mass of his giant, planet-sized head.

In book stores today...

Who would have thought that Joe the plumber could write a book and get it published in less than 2 months?

I heard about this today too

He says he wants to see first hand what it's like to be an average joe in Israel!

I really don't think this dude will ever go away unless he gets himself killed over there

Re: Joe the Plumber, part II

Between Joe the Plumber and Sarah Palin, the 2008 election is the gift that just keeps on giving. Here's Uber-Douche Rick Sanchez stone cold calling out Joe the Plumber, begging the question "Who is the bigger jackass?"
