it meant nothing. if you're undecided, you're an idiot and you won't make up your mind until November 6th.

Me and a friend hosted a debate party a couple of years ago...She advertised it on some website...Some freaky radicals showed up, toked our nugs, geeked out and left us wondering what the hell happened after they left..Monumental turning point in my life. No joke.

damn bro i believe you, those actions sure are pathetic, i'd love to go on right now, but i'll continue this rampant issue with you later on, not on the public floor. i brush shoulders amiss these obliviously ignorant, and arrogant individuals here in orange county on the regular. got a deep life changing story forsure. peace out
by the gods, that merits a thorough beat down of discipline, i hope they pay dearly for that shit. i run into people like this on the regular here in orange count, it's disgusting and infective..

it is just that obliviously ignorant, radical and arrogant attitude that makes me want to stand up and do something about these type of characters. logarithmically, how many individuals do you think there are in the coercive county that behave like such.. i bet it is more than we could postulate. owell,
Fanatic Street goes two ways. Unfortunately, traffic on it is becoming a pressing issue.

Re: Third Debate Recap

i agree and m vividly aware of that dude, careful with zee prejudgment of my rable, notice the way in which i edit my posts, lol. fortunately for me, i try to work at purging myself of both those inclinations, through muhc trial, bullshit and suffering that i have got myself into, im grateful 4 all the harmony that comes out of the conflict. humility is closet friend, and i delight in learning through testing and being corrected. i take it as a vital acquisition, much more valuable that riches.. i would rather grow with integrity, than delight in a useless rubber chicken tower of vanity and selfishness.

fuck words man, ill admit to you right now i'm under the infuence,. so just bear with me atm ok?

lol damn it, i dont regret this, but i alrdy ffeel the repercusions of posting drunk like this alrady. cheers.

Re: Third Debate Recap

so far, has been fun watching McCain handle Obama's response to the Ayers smear by basically rambling and switching the topic to taxes...

Re: Third Debate Recap

so McCain wants ex marines to teach kids maths in school without any need for a teaching certificate. yea- that'll help the education problems!

#1101269Post 15 of 38

Re: Third Debate Recap

McCain had a few times he looked pretty angry.

Regardless, most entertaining debate by far IMO.

Re: Third Debate Recap

I think Joe the Plumber ought to get to work on a book deal. Had that been a term in a drinking game, I wouldn't be able to type right now.

3/3 for Obama, IMO. McCain did better than he's done in the past, but he needed much more than this.

#1101278Post 20 of 38

Re: Third Debate Recap

about Ayers

"The fact that this has become such an important part of your campaign, Sen. McCain, says more about your campaign than it says about me," Obama replied.

nice comeback.

Re: Third Debate Recap

to me it was like watching a teenager argue with his smarter more clever uncle. mccain moving around in his chair uncomfortably while obama was relaxed and to the point.

mccain trying to keep up and digging deeper by saying he's not wanting part of that name calling and then two sentences later name calling. he's a total fool. i love how he could not give a reason as to why sarah palin would be a great president if something happened to him other than she's a reformer. lol. and she has an autistic child. nice.

obama was just saying the same sstuff he's been saying, tho looked a lot more annoyed with the lies again, than anything really.

this whole thing is really a waste of time. we should vote now. its completely obvious who america wants.
AND Palin is now an expert on autism now she has a kid with downs for 4 months!! WTF
LOL i caught that too. I was like 'lolwut'? Just had a DS baby and already they've diagnosed it with autism?

#1101286Post 24 of 38

Re: Third Debate Recap

Obama has grown enormously over the last twelve months!! He looked great today. :D

I haven't watched it all yet, but did Mc Cain really say Palin has an autistic child, cos autism and downs are two different things !

#1101288Post 25 of 38

Re: Third Debate Recap

^ Yes.

#1101378Post 26 of 38

Re: Third Debate Recap

^^ no.

He said Palin knows all about autism. Deducting that just because you have a DS infant is amazing.

Its like saying I know all about ferrari's because I bought a Honda Accord. Having never own a car previously.

I loved this. I can't quite decipher the look, though. I can't tell if it is legitimate surprise, or if it's some attempt at mock disbelief. It sure looks like he was legitimately stunned by that response, followed by him trying to retool some of the arguments he intended to make about this "penalty," but who knows. One thing's for sure -- if it was choreographed to make a point for McCain, it missed, because he looks like a smacked ass in this clip.

#1101683Post 30 of 38

Re: Third Debate Recap

McCain made some good points, probably better than in past debates. But he could have really helped himself if he hadn't spent most of the debate with an expression on his face like he was painfully passing gas. Non-verbal impressions matter, especially when you're up against a calm, collected, and articulate opponent.

how many times did McCain blink in this debate.. has to be over 5 thousand times..

Not that it's always an accurate measure but it is supposed to be one of the [many] indicators when a person is lying. It's one of the things I find myself keying in on (not intentionally). Obama's blink rate in this debate seemed average while McCain's was definitely outside of normal. In the first debate I noticed both Obama and McCain blinking away.

actually blinking has been disproved as a good indicator of someone lying. when placed in front of very bright lights, some people are prone to blink more.

Any of these are methods are only indexes and never alone, a tell tale sign that someone is lying. It's the combination of factors that is used to come to a conclusion. Of course, none of these are considered solid enough to be used as evidence. Blink rate though, is still generally accepted as a valid interrogation response measure.

putting someone in front of bright lights may have the effect of drying up the eyes which would cause that person to blink excessively... you can focus on other of mac's body language signs, but the blinkage is a pretty weak one imo
