I gather that the plan is to have Bristol Palin tie the knot before the election, so you're all invited:

I'll agree with you that she shouldn't have been dragged into this, but I think it's equally ridiculous that there is this push for her to get MARRIED -- which by the way is one of, if not the most important decisions a person can make in their life -- in advance of the election because they think it will somehow make a difference. "Evangelistic voters care, so Bristol, you have to get married NOW." It's absurd. A pox on all their houses, IMO.
Re: Wedding
isnt she under 18 and a wedding would be illegal?
jim? alaska legal limit? its not rape as they both conesenting and both under 18, but something has to be illegal here.

First off, why would you even want to use the N word, a word that is connected with so much hate, tragedy and bad feelings throughout history? I don't see the appeal.
But in answer to your question, that is correct, there is a difference. "Redneck" is not a race of people, it is a cultural thing -- you don't chose to be black, but you do choose to be a redneck.

Beats me -- varies state to state. I'll see if I can quickly find an answer.
The minimum age to marry in Alaska is 18. People under the age of 18 can marry with the consent of both parents. The prospective bride and groom should bring certified birth certificates, and their parents should present valid identification.
Re: Wedding
sooo..... the govener is going to pardon her own daughter, future son in law, and herself for permitting an illegal union..
lol, you cant make this shit up.
Re: Wedding
^^ no, assuming both parents consent, it's kool and the gang. no pardon necessary, assuming Levi's folks are on board (and they probably received a visit from some G-men explaining to them that "they are on board.") ;)

we can go at this forever but the N word is also connected with so much music, comedy, laughter, salutations, and good feelings. i also didnt use it in reference to a person but to the act of "rigging." also my other jokes and pictures in reference to obama being black had as much hatred/love/humor as all your redneck jokes (possibly even funnier). so if black people expect to be treated equally, it should be just that: equality. not more preferential treatment, not affirmative action etc. they are the ones deciding to prolong the stereotyping and the profiling. if i were black i wouldnt want to be treated any different than a white person: so if i make fun of them and call myself or them names, they should be able to do the same; i wouldnt want to get treated better, but exactly the same.

Re: Wedding
"all my redneck jokes?" Outside of this, which I'm not sure I'd even consider "my" joke anyway, I can't think of a single redneck joke I've made. I could be wrong, but even if I have, I'd be really surprised to find out that people around here think of me as "the guy who makes fun of rednecks."
Am I correct that your position is that African Americans should want you to use the N-word freely? Not really sure what to say about that.

all im saying is equality. if they use it in a non-demeaning, condescending fashion so should we. i admit ive said a few times: whats up my *****, or even at a football game with a bunch of black dudes: run *****; or as a joke when i referred to obama's plan on the economy. i would never use it in an insulting way. however i would expect the same from them as well when referring to my race.
