what the hell was he thinking?
also, how many republicans (and who) voted for the bailout?
Re: just in: deal Reached on bailout?
im surprised there wasnt a republican stalemate in order to cancel the debates.... wow.
since there has been a deal reached, there is no more reason to ditch the debates mr. mccain and palin!!!
Re: just in: deal Reached on bailout?
stalemate? i'm suprised it took so long to pass to be honest. There were quite a few republicans who refused to vote for this, and there were in fact a few who did vote for it.

breitbart quoted at least one who voted for it. i'm sure there are probably at least 5 others. voting against on this bill with mccain on the other side....:what
Re: just in: deal Reached on bailout?
lots of fun....lots of conflicting information out there right now.
CNNMoney says we will have a plan! http://money.cnn.com/2008/09/25/news/economy/deal_reached/index.htm?cnn=yes
CNN says no we won't! http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/09/25/campaign.wrap/index.html
I suspect they'll end up going ahead with it soon in some form.

Yep, it's called a credit union.
Re: just in: deal Reached on bailout?
^BB&T is likely to be pretty damn secure too.

or at least a small, localized bank (or region...not statewide)
I checked mine out just for kicks...looks A-OK! Probably because they didn't lend a lot of junk like the other guys did...
