what's ironic is that Darwin himself wasn't an atheist. he was a Christian (of which denomination i cannot recall)

perhaps both of those polarities are wrong in their conclusions, with regards the esoteric history of the planet? blavatsky's magnum opus would be a prime place to start for them.
