Re: Lipstick on a Pig
b/c someone cut and pasted while reporting to make it sound like he was referring to palin, while the sentence went something like this...
"blah blah blah and mccain;s economic policy in comparison to bush's... (pause).. you can put....."
they left out the part of the sentence that mattered most.
god damn, please everyone think...... do we want 4 more years of the same shit, fillibusters, stalwartibng bills, not passing legel reform wetc,,,
INDEPENDENT VOTES PLEASE
Re: Lipstick on a Pig
i have an issue with the mccain people saying this is an insult and that obama should apologize, when mccain himself said the exact same thing about hillary when she was campaining.

I'm OK with gridlock. We do the most damage when one party has unbridled power, unchecked by the other side, regardless of who is in charge. Not sure I see the relationship between voting independent and that, though...
For the record, though, we've had two years of filibusters, following 6 years of unchecked power. The Dems never had the balls to filibuster, and that's all the GOP has done since they lost the majority. Google it. ;)
WTF is this with "passing legal reform," though?

I think he's referring to the tendency of right-wing presidents to try to overturn roe v wade.
