thoughts on this?

i dont think i need to state my position.

re: the video i think they are putting a lot of blame on obama when the entire congress voted for it, however it is sickening that he kept hammering at it...

Re: induced labor abortions

personally, i hate the idea of abortion int he sense of "lack of responsibility" like "whoops, i got shitty and got fucked" (note: i dont not consider the morning after pill any semblence of abortion. sorry, but after 10 hours, the fetus cant be more than a few dozen gamate cells if that), but im for it when there are sveere consequences for child or mother, or retardation, or rape/incest

but i also realize that unless its my fucking kid, and even then,i i have zero right to tell a woman that she cant have the simple LIBERTY OF CHOICE(remember this idea around the mid to late 1700's?) when its my kid, well, i cant answer that, but i have the god given right to tell her i want to keep my potential child. in the end, it shold just be up to three ppl, the woman, her doctor and her god.

Re: induced labor abortions

even if the baby is born alive? that goes beyond the debate of when it's considered a living person or not... it's born, it's alive... so now we can let it die? thats fucked up

If it's born already then there's no abortion there.

Re: induced labor abortions

you are aware of what im talking about here, right? induced labor abortions? so what is it called then? because the baby is born alive and the medical staff isnt allowed to do anything to keep it alive, they're supposed to be left to die... so then it's infanticide?

Re: induced labor abortions

i think you definitely need to articulate your standpoint on this.

Re: induced labor abortions

hold the fuck on a second. did anyone notice how she kept saying BABYS!!!!! but never said the term/weeks?

oh wait, 20 weeks old. nice. that's what, about a month or two before the legal lines have been drawn by the supreme court/

no wonder the skin was paper thin, it wasn't a baby. this is hilarious. shock commentary at it's worst.

i suppose under her definition, a fertilized egg is a baby, and it is aborted at anytime from time of fertilization up to 24 weeks. (and obviously after which is where the law stands).

barack obama can play word games? Nice. How hypocritical. What dogshit.

Sosh, it's not suprising how easily you feel for this. Hell, i had to watch it twice to figure out what the hell was going on. very clever and deceptive (and i'm as sharp as a tack)

Re: induced labor abortions

^^^ picture yourself holding that "thing" living in your hands and youre going to let it die?

i have a friend who's wife had their baby at 25 weeks (i want to say even earlier, but i think that was it). yes it is a little slow etc, but they fought for it in the hospital to keep it alive.

btw this bill that obama was supportive of doesnt make a distinction of the age of the fetus/baby. it can be up to term and if the mother decides to abort it, nobody is allowed to do anything about it... it's more than just words dude...

Re: induced labor abortions

need a link to the bill first.

second, you should know better than appealing to emotions. i mean, this is one of the main reasons you mock obama supporters, because of thier emotion. (and while i agree with you on that tip, it's a bit hypocritical, no?)

brb getting bill link

emotions? they're facts... those babies are alive and either killed or left to die. they're issued birth and death certificates!

http://judiciary.house.gov/legacy/215.htm

read that testimony of a nurse:

"The baby's little fingers were clasping and unclasping, and his feet were kicking. Then the doctor stuck the scissors through the back of his head, and the baby's arms jerked out in a flinch, a startle reaction, like a baby does when he thinks that he might fall.
The doctor opened up the scissors, stuck a high-powered suction tube into the opening and sucked the baby's brains out. Now the baby was completely limp."

Re: induced labor abortions

no, you were appealing to my emotions when you said, "picture a baby in your hands blah blah blah".

saying they are 'babies' at such a few weeks old is such a huge red herring to the actual argument at stake.

by your own admission, you would deem that a blastocyst removed from the womb not only a 'baby' but 'alive' as well.

so, what you're ultimately basing your argument is on is the fact that they're issued 'birth certificates'. well, i'm convinced!

Re: induced labor abortions

ok, so from reading this, the bill is trying to overturn roe v. wade.

are you for overturning roe v. wade?

further, what do you propose be done with the <20 week old fetus? please explain further than saying, "save it of course"
