Re: Biden's Speech

Looks like this was what he was brought in to do, especially McCain yet to name a VP, Biden with all his family wheeled out there at the end, bringin the ol populist angle will allow middle america to sleep at night. Personally, look more forward to Obama's speech tomorrow has potential to be one of those moments will see if he seizes the opportunity.

Re: Biden's Speech

I'll tell you what, Beau Biden gave a whale of an introduction as well. Great speeches from both of them.

Re: Biden's Speech

^ missed that. beau is speaking at the school next week and I was wondering if it would be worth seeing him. I heard something about him being shipped off to iraq.

Re: Biden's Speech

Yep, as a JAG. Not sure I'd want to see him speak about just anything, but his speech was very personal and heartwarming, honestly. Worth finding on YouTube.

as far as i can remember back, obama's always talked about negotiating. instead of shooting first.

Re: Biden's Speech

When he was asked about Obama's statement that he would unconditionally meet with the leaders of "terrorist" nations, Biden said: "Would I make a blanket commitment to meet unconditionally with the leaders of each of those countries within the first year I was elected president? Absolutely positively no." (Sen. Joe Biden, Remarks At The National Press Club, Washington, DC, 8/1/07)

Now, he's saying that Obama is a genius for saying so. lulz?
