It's becoming increasingly clear that the McCain camp intends to run negative ad after negative ad, and that they are starting to have an impact. Ergo, Obama has got to come back with his own. I've found his previous forays into the world of negative campaigning to be pretty underwhelming, but this one I really like:

If I were Obama, I think a pretty good ad would be to just run that picture of McCain lovingly hugging Bush on a continuous loop between now and November. Eyes closed, dude looks like he's in a state of complete and utter bliss. Not a good shot at all.

Some will probably chastise Obama for running negative ads while touting "a new kind of politics," but I think there is a difference between ads that raise legitimate points related to the way that someone would govern, and those that just make shit up and/or attack someone on an unnecessarily personal basis. Here's hoping he keeps it above board.

I'm definitely sensing a theme with your responses lately. I'd love, just once, to hear you say something positive about your guy that isn't a comparison with Obama.

And on the substance, I'll say this -- at least Obama has the judgment to recognize when it's time to change course. One would assume that both of them will have advisors to help them develop an economic plan for the country, but if you don't recognize the need to try something different, those advisors don't mean dick.

Does McCain recognize the need to try something different? Depends upon what day it is, who he's talking to, etc.

i'm in the midst of writing a pro's/con's outcome on who would be a better candidate. I'll post in a bit. I think with the choice of two (and excluding a 3rd party candiate), there could be a definitie answer to whom is better.

Re: Obama Fights Back

lmao. you cant do that. think. poorer people, minorities, etc will favod the bigger ideals from democrats, business as a whole, professionals and the majority of white middle class will favor certain republican ideals.

you should included bob barr info in there too. keep it 3, at least people will see that the libertarian party pretty much represents the more central ideas. socail liberalism with conservative responsibilities of fiscal judgement.

mccain = 100+ years in the middle east obama = gtfo
