[B]Abstract[/B] The diamagnetic semiconducting molecular crystal tetrasilver tetroxide (Ag.sub.4 O.sub.4) is utilized for destroying the AIDS virus, destroying AIDS synergistic pathogens and immunity suppressing moieties (ISM) in humans. A single intravenous injection of the devices is all that is required for efficacy at levels of about 40 PPM of human blood. The device molecular crystal contains two mono and two trivalent silver ions capable of "firing" electrons capable of electrocuting the AIDS virus, pathogens and ISM. When administered into the bloodstream, the device electrons will be triggered by pathogens, a proliferating virus and ISM, and when fired will simultaneously trigger a redox chelation mechanism resulting in divalent silver moieties which chelate and bind active sites of the entities destroying them. I'm not a patent lawyer, so I'm not purporting to speak authoritatively on this, but I do have enough familiarity with the process to know this -- when you file a patent, it doesn't mean anything other than that's what you claim your invention can do. Pharmaceutical companies will typically file patent applications based upon what they think their drugs will do at the earliest possible opportunity, because that gives them protection from competition in the event someone else has the same idea. If it turns out to not work as intended, que sera sera.

Patents are kinda like lawsuits in this respect -- anyone that can fill out the paperwork and pay the filing fee can file either, but that doesn't mean they are right.

I find it very hard to believe that this is the only patent on the books that purports to cure AIDS.

if it was patented in 96 - thats 12 years to conduct rigorous trials. or even preliminary trials. My guess is there is no scientific basis for its claims.

imo they should get the "shit with sperm drizzled on top" eater to contact aids and then run a bunch of crazy tests on him to see if they can cure it... hell they should use him as a guinea pig for all diseases.
