PS I really hope Olbermann has his taxes in order!
Re: Great Rant
The thing I really like about Keith's "Special Comments" isn't just that they tend to be anti-Bush (because, let's face it, there's plenty of that out there right now), it's that they are well-written and well-delivered, with the precision of a actor delivering a soliloquy. I think he sits down and tries to come up with the most creative -- and at times even poetic -- prose to deliver his message.
Highly entertaining, and when you consider how many influential pro-Bush commentators there are in the mainstream media -- Hannity, Coulter, Gibson, Rush, O'Reilley, etc. -- it's nice to have someone delivering a contrary message that is forceful, direct, and not watered down...
Re: Great Rant
Skimmed it...good stuff, but already well-known by everyone except for the fact...
in solidarity with the troops, he gave up....golf???
"I don't want some mom whose son may have recently died to see the Commander-in-Chief playing golf," Bush said in an interview with Yahoo and Politico.com. "I feel I owe it to the families to be as -- to be in solidarity as best as I can with them. And I think playing golf during a war just sends the wrong signal," he said.
wow...NO GOLF!!! I guess he's really taking this whole thing seriously :o:
Re: Great Rant
yeah^^ but maybe the voters need to be reminded in the face of elections so its good to have a summary of the presidency...although he should have maybe mentioned the economy
