Re: demands from islam... your thoughts?

he's got a point!

to be honest with you people can do what they want, but when they start to force it on others, its not on. If you want to come and live in the uk. Fine. but you should adapt to our ways of life. not vice a versa. we are tolerant, but u live here! if u dont like it, go home. things are getting out of hand and at the end of the day this shit is gonna get real messy sooner rather than later.

I loved every second of it and I have a muslim sitting next to me and I pissed him off so bad, he yelled at me and I told him to go fuck himself.

Re: demands from islam... your thoughts?

^ you better be careful. he might jihad your arse. :)

as far as adapting to their way of life, i can't comprehend why the UK and even the US have started bending over backwards to appeal to the muslim community so much. ofcourse, i can understand it to a certain degree out of respect for their religion, especially for the non-extremists. but i've read ridiculous things such as somewhere that in st. louis they now have loud speakers in certain areas to announce prayer time like they do over in islamic nations. not sure if that's true or not, maybe jenks or toasty can testify. and then i read shit where some cabbie muslims in south africa basically raped, undressed and fingered a young attractive girl, non muslim, in the middle of the street because she wore a miniskirt out in public and the cabbies think they should get a pardon for their actions! i'm sorry, wearing a miniskirt in south africa is allowed. raping a girl is not. so don't do it. and don't begin to think that because your religion is against wearing miniskirts that it is ok to do harm to others (probably an extreme case). there's a certain degree of tolerance......... religions need to be able to coincide. can you imaginea world with no girls in miniskirts or bikinis. :(

I have quite a bit of training in the art of smashing bones and breaking jaws, I don't think some crazy "sowdi" wants to mess with a crazy italian.

Re: demands from islam... your thoughts?

Good video. I've got some demands for Islam:

 1. Stop treating women like shit.
 2. Stop supporting and condoning terrorism.
 3. Stop punishing people without even an attempt at a fair trial.
 4. Stop forcing everyone in your countries to think and act the same way with respect to your religion.

If you do these things, then welcome to the 21st century.

I can speak to this, and I can tell you that you've heard wrong. There is a minaret being built in a heavily Bosnian neighborhood in South St. Louis City -- St. Louis has a huge Bosnian population, by the way -- but it has no speakers or sound system and is merely symbolic. No calls to prayer blaring out or anything like that. God forbid I have to crane my head around a single Muslim prayer tower to see any of the bazillion steeples of Catholic churches that dot the St. Louis skyline and ring bells every 15 minutes.

I'm not able to see that video for whatever reason, but I've got a pretty good idea of what's on it from the reactions. The demonizing of Muslims is really distasteful, I think. We've reached a point in our country where it's an insult to be called a Muslim, and "rumors" that a presidential candidate might be Muslim or photos of someone in traditionally Muslim attire is enough to whip people into a froth.

America is a nation of immigrants, and its greatest strength is its diversity. If people have a problem with an ethnic or religious group living in their neighborhood and having the same rights that they do, might I suggest that they pick a different country, because as time goes on, the nation is getting more heterogeneous -- and that's not a bad thing.

^ goes to show you that not everything you read on the internet is true! i thought the story sounded a bit radical, but nevertheless, it looked legit. soooo hard to discriminate from the truth on the intermanet today.

Re: demands from islam... your thoughts?

either way, im not going to the middle east any time soon, and i dont want any hardliners moving near me either.

personally, i find the religious beleifs horrendous within the religion. utterly disgusting and ancient, based on the stupidist , backwards rules out there, similar to what my born religion was in the past, (catholicism, and middle ages, inquisitions, and earlier)

religion is false, all of it, sadly, there is tons of proof against it, and people ignore it.

If you didn't like that for whatever reason, here, see what this Muslim women feels like. http://youtube.com/watch?v=zB5LB0xAPoo

And if you have demands for Islam? Do some research and read the Qur'an in your spare time and find out what Islam really teaches. There are a lot of cultural teachings which have nothing to do with TRUE Islam. America has this bad image of Muslim women in American media. Like the guy in the first video said, don't ask Barbara Walters or CNN how Muslim women feel. Ask the Muslim women themselves! Anyhow, I can go through a list of all these misconceptions about Islam and its terrorism and its hatred against women and all that jazz. But if you look at what Islam really teaches, you will see that it is totally on the contrary from the viewpoints of American media. Just sharing my thoughts. ;)

Not as distasteful as the notion of convert or die!

The video blog does not demonise muslims or Islam, but challenges radical Islam and its financial and spiritual backers, The Saudis.

... I know every country has their own culture and every religion has their own beliefs, but i think a lot of these sick individuals hide behind their own interpretations of their religion to cover up their own fucked up "values". I dont even know what to say about someone that can do that to a fucking child. Death is no where near a good enough punishment

You really should widen your reading list - obviously you seem to know very little.

Now lets get down to facts - to say its the zionist government of Israel you object to is nothing more that BS - what you object to is the Israeli Government, and the fact that Jews have returned to their home land of Eretz Yisrael and have built up a modern successful country in their ancient homeland while their neighbours have been manipulated, abused and used by their own kind in keeping them in sub-human conditions.

You object to the very nation of the State of Israel - you're reading matter does nothing more that confirm that fact.

Be honest with at least that and maybe you might be taken seriously.

well, i live in canada, so i don't watch fox news.

and yes, civilians do end up getting killed in airstrikes. its inevitable when bombing targets in civilian areas. happens with the US when they bomb, and any other country that does airstrikes. civilians end up in the cross-fire. especially in the case of palestine, cause the militant fucks are cowards, and set up their operations in heavily populated areas. they shield themselves with civilians. it makes me ill.

now re-read what i originally posted. i said israel does not intentionally target civilians...where as groups like hamas fire unguided rockets into israelie cities. this is, by definition, targeting civilians.'

there is a difference, whether you want to acknowledge it or not.

Dear oh dear, you're arguments might have more strength if you didn't rely on quoting either nutcase conspiracy sites or a small fringe of ultra orthodox jews that number in the region of 1500 people world wide.

Re: demands from islam... your thoughts?

Man i am really sick of these things , i mean i have Atheist, christians , jews , buddhists etc friends and i never start "Shit man your religion has this and that .. o its crap " Whats wrong with you people ??!!!! Being a Muslim myself i am entitled to my own beliefs and i get offended when someone starts talking bullshit about it .. Go and read please before talking words out of the mouth of some reporters or media people and repeating it whoever is talking about polygamy ....man rarely anyone now does it and just FYI you cant do it unless your current wife agrees ..sounds funny ? Well the reason its there is that if for example she turns out to be impotent and she agrees that it is unfair for the man but she still wants to be his wife then polygamy would be an option ***..and this by the way doesnt say that your just gonna marry a new wife just to fuck her and get babies out of her and throw her away she would be entitled to exactly the same rights as your previous one and they have to like each other .. SO lets out it this way its fuking hard to have legitimate polygamy and only in extreme extreme cases it would be allowed .. Again i am not sure but i think its stated in the quran that you can only have polygamy if you are sure your going to be fair between all your wives , and in the second verse it says and god knows that your not going to be fair .. so what does that mean ? Go and read before making any ignorant replies I respect all people who respect other people and appreciate mankind .. i despise all those who see themselves superior to other humans simply because they are stupid

***(now ur thinking its so unfair to women cause if the man is impotent whats the woman going to do .. she can claim divorce , divorce is allowed in our religion , and FYI in islam the wife doesnt have to spend a single penny on her family i.e all she earns is for her, the man has to provide for all the needs of the family and the wife and the house and etc)
