... well, the strategy for spinning the war in Iraq, anyway. Evidently, the Defense Department will be sponsoring a program to send Iraqis around the country to speak publically about all the positive aspects of the Iraq war in an attempt to cast a more favorable light on the conflict and direct attention from the growing insurgency.

Kerry wants the lights turned down. lol.

They denied him.

I really don't get what all of this matters since the responses are going to be programmed anyway. They've already seen the questions for fucks sake! I want to see them both squirm under pressure, not listen to some senior speech writer's comments blurted out from these two.

Re: Bush Changes Strategy Regarding Iraq!!!

If officials in Iraq are sayin' that 15 of its 18 provinces are "safe" so what about the other 3 provinces? Based on the following from Times.NY article, this could mean Anbar, Nineveh, and Salahuddin Provinces:

"During the past 30 days those attacks totaled 283 in Nineveh, 325 in Salahuddin in the northwest and 332 in the desert badlands of Anbar Province in the west. In the center of Iraq, attacks numbered 123 in Diyala Province, 76 in Babylon and 13 in Wasit. There was not a single province without an attack in the 30-day period."

Fallujah is in the province of Anbar, while Mosul is in Nineveh and Tikrit (Saddam's Hometown) is in the province of Salahuddin. What could this mean? If military wants to try and secure more grounds...this means more soldiers...from where? The US has some millions of service people around the world and 18-35????? 'may' have to worry someday. But before that...I guess DOD is gonna try to spread some more fake news to the people of Iraq as well as the entire world in hopes of support.
