Lemme see -- Dems take over Congress in 2006 and in 2007, well, they accomplish exactly dick.
What began as a troubling year for Bush, facing a new, energetic Democratic Congress, ended in triumph for the president as frustrated Democrats nursed their losses. Democrats failed in their No. 1 objective to stop the war in Iraq and bowed to Bush and his veto threats on tax policies, energy legislation, children's health insurance and general spending.

Man, it is so frustrating. Dems have no backbone at all. Newsflash: if you pass a bill that funds our troops but Bush vetoes it because it contains a non-binding timetable for withdrawal, Bush is the one standing in the way. That's the story. Grow a sac. Sheesh.
They have to get over this fear of Bush vetoing a bill. Let him do it, it is not your responsibility to buckle every fucking time because Bush threatens a veto. Bush refuses any sort of compromise, and the Dems capitulate. It's so frustrating.
