Germans are cool. They have pumpernickel, which is the funniest word ever. And schr?der looks a hell of a lot cooler than Balkenende. And I've been in Berlin, the most beautiful city I've visited so far.

Germans rule for the same reason's Jenks gave. Except he forgot Porshe. And the beer thing is a close call between Belgium and Germany, I think I'll have to go with Germany as number 2 there, not 3. But my favorite beer of all, Aventinus, is a german beer.

After all that though, I do have some resentment toward your politicians, as I do with the French Government and their cowardliness (thats how I see it) toward the situation in Iraq.

i love the stuff. i missed a chance to go to the brew-house this Spring ... still very bitter about it. on the other hand, the beer has been around for some damn long ... I really have nothing to worry about.

That is true Czechs know their Pilsner ... and that is one of the hardest beers to make.

My g/f is German so no problem there. I also have found appreciation for the dutchies, after rooming with one for a year. They stick together and sure know how to party. It was my dutch roomate who introduced me to edm, first track was like - 'you dont fuck me, i dont fuck you,' and then there was a track by Tomcraft that now makes me wanna :Barf:

Jenks: haven't been to prague, but my friends tell me that is a city also worth visiting. So I'll probably go there when I get the chance.

I'm really into Belgian beer, especially Kriek or Hoegaarden, although the latter may be of Dutch origin. It's blonde/white beer, a little sweet.

The Dutch do know how to party; this evening me and my house-mates decided to have a party the 12th of november. Last one was a bomb, everyone having fun, drinking beer and smoking weed. Awesome, next morning I woke up to find my room filled with empty beer bottles and empty weed/hash sachets...and this year imma have a fuck, too.

I haven't been to Berlin, but having been to Prague, I would say it is probably one of the most beautiful cities on the planet and that's only the beginning. Couple other funny things about the Czech Republic, the country sits on scary nexus of beer and women. Czech beer is one of the finest in the world and Czech women are generally naturals for being models. If that doesn't do it for you, then stay where you are because I don't want you getting in my way when I move there.

Regarding Germany as a country, it is one of the driving forces of the EU and I sure hope the government (whoever will be in power) will be able to maintain a balance between the eastern and the western part of the country. :Bingo:

Pilsner Urquel is great and Plzen (where's its brewed) has this like 800 year old museum on the history of beer. pretty cool if you dig museums about beer. :Bingo:

I should also add that I've seen a few German movies lately. Run Lola Run, and the Expirement. Both were very interesting movies. :Bingo:

I think Germans are cool and I like German cars as well (I own and drive a 911). Most of the Germans I have met are intelligent, great conversationalist, and very friendly. I also know that they very kinky :Naughty: I'm not to familiar with their present day politics, so I can't say anything about that, but I'd love to visit the place sometime. Hah great topic. I am studying in chile and i have met quite a few germans. And all of them were as typical as you could immagine. The german students last semester used complex excel spreadsheets to organize grocery spending. They loved go-karting and would nagg us daily to go with them. They had the most up-to-date technology with everything they owned, they were fashionable but conservative, extremely organized, methodical and very serious. All great guys of course and i still keep in touch with them.

The most beautiful city in the world I have been to so far has been Rio (for its geography). I would love to go to prague as its said to have some of the best architecture as well as barcalona, sydney vancouver and cape town.

And according to the playboy i have beside me shockingly to me the czechs do drink the most beer in the world at a wopping 161 litres per year. The irish, germans,austrians and people from luxemburg (sp?) rounded out the top 5.

There is nothing wrong with Germans. Nice country and that stuff that happened 50 years ago is history. Nobody can change that but we're living in another time. Germans are cool

Discojoe, Luxemburg is a very small kingdom situated between The Netherlands, Berlgium and Germany.
