Dave, first of all thanks for an interesting post.
A while ago I saw a documentary (BBC) where both jewish as well as Palestinian kids were interviewed. Both said (well, that is to say, the conscensus was that) they won't play woth kids from "the other side" because their fathers hated each other (and so on, and so on).
Now on the constructive side: Hamas plays the hate game quite well (don't have data on the extreme right jewish factions), but the question is: how do we stop this hate breeding? What do you think is the solution to that?
On a side note: can anyone explain me the difference between recruiting child soldiers in Africa and indirectly recruiting suicide bombers in the ME?

The solution is a two step process:
Step 1: Move all the Israeli people here to the United States. We have plenty of room for them all here. Their country is tiny, so we don't have to give up much. I say we just give them Death Valley. It's small, hot and otherwise completely worthless. It should feel just like home, while nobody in the USA will miss it. Plus, with the Israelis living within the USA, they would be better protected from annihilation.
Step 2: Nuke Israel. All of it. Nuke it so hard that if any living creature sets foot near it for the next 100 years, it would melt from the radiation leftover. If they all want to fight over a tiny strip of land..... fine.... destroy the land. Nobody gets it. Just like when your mom would take away the toy your little brother and you were fighting over.
There you go. Problem solved. ;)
