I'm sure you've all heard about Louisiana Senator David Vitter who has come clean about seeing a prostitute in anticipation of being outed by the DC Madam. Have you heard Sen. Jim DeMint's comments on the situation?
?All of us have to look at it and say that we could be next,? he said in answer to a Vitter question. ?We all think that we?re not vulnerable to something like that happening, but the fact is this can be a very lonely and isolating place.?

OK, is this an admission that Sen. DeMint uses prostitutes? Or that "all of us [senators/congressman]" use prostitutes? Or just the stupidest thing a person could possibly say under the circumstances?

What a cryptic thing to say. Does he mean that Washington is a lonely and isolating place? Or perhaps the situation?

If I were his wife, he'd have some 'splainin' to do. What an idiot.

Re: Admission?

Well here's what his wife had to say about another Washington scandal:
Asked by an interviewer in 2000 whether she could forgive her husband if she learned he'd had an extramarital affair, as Hillary Clinton and Bob Livingston's wife had done, Wendy Vitter told the Times-Picayune: 'I'm a lot more like Lorena Bobbitt than Hillary. If he does something like that, I'm walking away with one thing, and it's not alimony, trust me.'
