^pardon me dumbass, but did it ever occur to you that the interviews are all taking place in times square where there are tons of tourists and very few actual new yorkers! You calling new yorkers idiots is pretty damn ignorant, especially considering the level of education of most new yorkers as compared to most other places in this country. Maybe you should try looking elsewhere for the idiots. Sorry to go off on you, but it deeply bothers me that you're so quick to generalize about new york...after all where the hell would this country be without new yorkers many intelligent residents :evil:

I understand your points and am not denying that there are dumb people in new york, but why is it that everyone is so quick to just ignore the fact that the interviews were done in times square where there are few true new yorkers? You're just being very quick to call new yorkers idiots without looking at the facts.

I think what it comes down to is the fact that the overall knowledge of our citizens is pretty dismal. Whether it's new yorkers or not, those people are still US citizens and it's disconcerting to know that they don't have a grasp of the world around them.

Do you really think that every person who was interviewed didn't know the answers? The editor clearly takes the worst answers they could find and put it into a montage of dumb answers. The problem is that you run with this edited version and use it for your basis to start calling New Yorkers and now Americans idiots...pretty pathetic.

Admittedly that interview would have been a collection of ridiculous responses all bundled together and presented for the rest of the world to laugh at. Having said that I think they (The Chaser, probably Australia?s best satirical prime time show) were trying to draw a line between what is supposedly a passionate and justified decision to engage and invade based on the public conscience and that very same public conscience not having a clue as to the real reason for ?The War on Terror.?

We live in misinformed times, amongst misinformed people, surely when these very same people are responsible for electing those who choose to make decisions that will have a far reaching impact on the rest of the world, then we the informed and aware should also have the right to look/judge/laugh?.
