media alter motives re: BBC kidnapee.

why wont the BBC call thier reporter in gaza a hostage who was kidnapped.

they keep calling him a missing man, even while ackowledging the gov't is negotiating with groups who hold him (hamas?)

so with BBC usually taking a slightly liberal stance (but still being the most independent station around), why wont they just report it as for what it is. a group, deemed terrorist by the EU and others, kidnapped a man, and are holding him. he isnt missing.

are they holding the correct description away from the headlines simply to be a little too PC?

Because the BBC is a left-wing organization. If they used the word "hostage", it would go against their anti-semitic, pro-palestinian, liberal biases. And we can't have that, now can we? :roll:
