So it seems that we're getting closer and closer to creating our North American Union for all the trade junkies. For those that don't know, it's pretty much taking down the borders of the US so that Mexico, US, and Canada are one conglomerate. Not that that wasn't happening prior, but now it's not as subtle.

Re: North American Union

GOOD. THE CANADIANS can teach the US to lighten up, the US can teach the mexicans how to shape up, and and the mexicans can teach us... umm, what can mexico teach us?
how to make churizos.
what the hell is that?

we can teach you how to be fuckin' humanists for one...or maybe how to stop the "narco" cuz you guys are helpless on that matter .

although i completely disagree with this option they should close the borders once and for all and we should look down here with our brothers in a latin american union. i just don't see me learning something from a yank other than listening to disgusting hip hop music and boring my ass off with him in a baseball game with fat colorless chicks around and lame cheering.

on the other hand canadians are awesome people.

Re: North American Union

i would never equate 'humanism' with "mexicans". but i'd be interested to know why you believe that

mmmmm maybe because your society doesn't have one bit of that? as I said before I completely disagree with that freaking union.

#837218Post 7 of 41

Re: North American Union

saying that Americans 'lack humanism" isn't evidence that mexicans themselves do.

If the US is such an inhumane country why are your compadres jumping the border in the first place? Says enough about Chicostan imo.

On topic: good to see that the US is reaching out more and more again after rolling back on itstelf after 9/11...

hahaha do you think some lame job that an american wouldn't do without any wages paid is humanist? plus you guys making fun of them all the time (although i could care less)... just close the boarders mate no need to look up i say

we should look down here with our brothers

Millions dead? You're drastically inflating numbers. Thousands dead. Millions freed.

Apparently it's a job that your people are willing to risk their lives for, so clearly it is an improvement over the situation in Mexico.

#837320Post 11 of 41

Re: North American Union

^This is actually supposed to help you guys so you won't have so many people fleeing your country just to find a job.

Apparently there's also talks of having the universal currency as the Amero or the North American Dollar.

#837322Post 12 of 41

Re: North American Union

There already IS a universal worldwide currency.

It's called the DOLLAR.

stop being a smartass.

#837555Post 15 of 41

Re: North American Union

Even though 1 euro is worth 1,3 dollar and even though I would like the euro to be the standard international currency, the dollar still is. Wake up.

And if you're not running to the US, where are you gonna go? Chavezistan? Good luck on that one

#837675Post 16 of 41

Re: North American Union

The dollar is only popular due to all oil trades use it. If oil was traded in euros or pounds then the dollar would be completely worthless.

Money, jobs and standard of living are why mexicans go to the USA.

Mexico incidently has the same trading rights within the EU as the UK does, how the fuck does that work out?

Mexico could contribute siestas and hats to the trading bloc.
Or maybe cheap labour, to be fair if they pulled their fingers out they could become the new China, think of the saved shipping costs if you made your McD happy meal toys in mexico rather than china.

Re: North American Union

ignore apollo when it comes to talking international anything. in this thread alone he said "USA is the only country in america"

first off. its north america (continent) comprising of the big 3 in canada, USA, mexico, then the islands in the gulf of mexico, and everything down to panama.

secondly, the mexican state itself could indeed benifit from a giant trade union with common goals and rules. one, a giant influx of money via labor payments to citizens, taxes upon the labor, technology influx ( i have been in mexico, they need it), and simple business practice which obviously isnt just needed, it will be nothign short of CPR for the mexican economy. all 3 countries will benifit is many ways, with a leveling of the weath lines being foremost. money will leave america and canada for mexico, raising the mexican median income over a period of time.

its amazing how people ignore simple economics out of a sense of national pride.

Re: North American Union

ya i know. prosperity brings peace and stability and cooperation. think that for all you wanna bad mouth american politics and our IMPERIALISTIC nature (which hasnt "imperialized anything since hawaii, whom asked us to), america works with china, a communist nation. i.e. our would-be arch nemesis to capitalism.

i wanna see this north american union join up with the EU and maybe even the asian manufacturing nations. one common rule for all in the end. we should be electing the president of the planet at one point.

#837704Post 21 of 41

Re: North American Union

its not some national bullshit pride its the fact that you guys don't want us there and we don't need you. its a simple equation.

That said, how are you guys gonna solve the following on your own?
scarcity of hazardous waste disposal facilities; rural to urban migration; natural fresh water resources scarce and polluted in north, inaccessible and poor quality in center and extreme southeast; raw sewage and industrial effluents polluting rivers in urban areas; deforestation; widespread erosion; desertification; deteriorating agricultural lands; serious air and water pollution in the national capital and urban centers along US-Mexico border; land subsidence in Valley of Mexico caused by groundwater depletion
Like I said before: lay off the mescal...

Re: North American Union

almost every economy in the world depends on the us economy we can have a respectful relationship based on what is best for us ... now theres no need to make a retarded north american union where most americans and mexicans are going to disagree to begin with.

and it is spelled mezcal n00b.

Re: North American Union

 1. you're not answering the question.
 2. think there's no need for unions? just peek at the EU and think again
 3. I don't give a toss how it's spelt, guido

of course it can bring benefits but I disagree with that fucking idea of a union period.

are you blind mate? theres other alternatives stop being fucking pissy about it just because not even the poor little mexicano and the canadian hippy want you as a neighboor. get over it

I can just see the tittle on fox news.... MEXICANS WANT TO TAKE OVER THE UNION? (with that gay ass question mark at the end) its stupid we don't want something we don't need.

#837743Post 26 of 41

Re: North American Union

yeah, mexico doesnt need any help....

lets see....

1994- IMF bails out mexico's broke ggovernment, using 15 million dollars a year from the US, still paying it today.

now- mexico accounts for 22% of USA's foreign aid budget. mexicos GDP is funded (52%) by tax free monies from the US based worker. countless mexican policemen, governemnt representatives, and military killed by drug cartels. most of the country is undeveloped, and in poverty.

you really need to do some research to form an opinion. seriously, it isnt even funny at this point. most ppl around here who have differing opinoins base em on facts, you just seem to be throwing darts. you have no clue as to what you are saying.

#837757Post 27 of 41

Re: North American Union

hahaha why do you want to help mate... i just dont get it. you don't care for illegal aliens why should you care to create the union or to help us to shape up why.

#837759Post 28 of 41

Re: North American Union

 1. i do care for illegal aliens. my viewpoint, which was clearly explained in political stance thread, is that they should stay if they want, but abide by our laws. stop putting words in my mouth for the love of god.

 2. i would be open to the union for mutual benifit for all. the only group that would be hurt would be the domestic unions within the US. canada and mexico only stand to gain employment numbers and economic value.

you are clueless. go find a politics board for ppl in highschool. you utter lack of knowledge in real world application like law, economics and trade makes your comments pointless and annoying.

and you keep saying the same shit to every question posed your way with zero factual basis.

Re: North American Union

I'm not saying that it would be useless but it would only create more tension more hate and that is unnecessary dont be a fucking hipocrite you guys hate illegal aliens. make fun of them treat em like shit etc... i just don't see the point we don't have nothing in comon other than being neighboors

#837778Post 31 of 41

you are flat out wrong. most ppl here treat illegal aliens pretty damn good. a few sour apples dont. and they end up in jail when they do illegal shit.
