Man, I truly love your statement, there had been nearly 600,000 ppl killed in Iraq, and you are telling me that since the start of the War the American are only responsible for 300 death... The American Angels fight war in Iraq !! That is takin the piss.

Note: The Iraq officials are the biggest cunts in ME, and they can not piss before they take permission from the USA.

That 600,000 figure is a load of horseshit. People were saying that 600,000 were dead over a year ago. At that rate they should be saying it's well over 1,000,000 by now... but they just stick with 600,000. It's a freaking talking point that they have forgotten to change with time.

About the only way you get to 600,000 dead in Iraq is if you count 30 years of Saddam's rule in the figures.

Re: The religion of peace strikes again

im blaming my govt for the recent death of liz o neill, of sydney australia, who died in the indonesia air crash, simply b/c the US isnt doing enough to ensure the safety of airlines all around the globe.

thats what it sounds like these days.

oh yeah, and for james irvington, a english guy who just died in germany from skin cancer, because the US caused skin cancer and wont help the world stop it quickly.

The 600,000 figure came from a report in the Lancet - that report and its methodology have now been entirely discredited; i'll see if i can pull up that report soon.

#824935Post 46 of 62

Re: The religion of peace strikes again

yes, that report was entirely discredited within a few weeks. even Amnesty international had chimed in, and they are one of the more credible agencies when it comes to reporting rights violations.

You should be laughed at and treated as a joke if you really believe in the figures that you've just posted above.

The israeli army murdered over 1000 innocent men, woman and children in it's bombardment of Lebanon in a little over a month. This did not include a full occupation of that country.

The us have dropped thousands and thousands of bombs all over Iraq since March 2003. On top of this the us has fully occupied Iraq since the 2003.

If the bombs don't kill you than the occupation will.

Sound familier?

Check out what these brave and proud us soldiers did in the name of american values.

That's 4 dead in one instance because some sicko perverted, peodaphile fucks couldn't keep their hands to themselves.

This us "soldier" admitts that his platoon has murderd over 30 innocent civilians.

http://www.democracynow.org/article.pl?sid=04/05/24/148212

Less than 300 Iraqi civilians dead by us armed forces since 2003????

Keep on posting such rubbish.:D

You might end up with a job on Fox's o'reilly factor.

Re: The religion of peace strikes again

Dig71, one thing the groups who post these numbers argue about is whether a non uniformed fighter is a civilian or not. hence the monster flucuations in numbers. IMHO, anyone pointing a gun at troops becomes a combatant, and throws civilian label out the window, just like all those little worms in gaza and west bank who throw on thier friday attire and fight for hamas.

Re: The religion of peace strikes again

As usual Dig you are talking out of your ass. Hizbollah themselves admitted that out of the supposed 1000 civilians killed in the last war which hizbollah started some 600 odd were indeed their fighters.

As for either Democracy Now or Al Jazeera, well you believe what you like, and the rest of us will believe the truth.

The figures from the Iraq body count were for the year 2006 and not since 2003- you might have read that if your head wasn't so far up fundi ass.

So Hizballah are honest and are to be believed in everything they say then?

Even so, lets say 400 hundred innocent civilians murdered deliberately, is this something not to be concerned about?
As for either Democracy Now or Al Jazeera, well you believe what you like, and the rest of us will believe the truth.
Oh wise one, please oh pretty please share with us your exclusive source of information.

Which proves the point that I was making to sightless, which was that his figure of 300 Iraqis murdered by us forces was laughable. So thank you.;)

Was there something wrong, incorrect with article I posted?

Don't like what Al Jazeera has to say? Is it because they're Arabs?

Well these reports might make you feel alot more fuzzier inside.

All death concerns me dig, but war is war. Israel was attacked, our soldiers killed and kidnapped on OUR own sovereign territory, surely even you would expect us to respond to such a blatant attack?

Nasrallah was reported a while back as saying he was surprised at our response to rockets being bombarded into our northern settlements and his provocative attack on OUR territory and military personnel. Well may be next time he will think twice about attacking us.

As always when Hizbollah and their string pullers decide to attack us its the Lebanese people who suffer - regrettable yes, completely avoidable yes, but not OUR fault.

But i guess you disagree with that, right?

My point was more about you than Al Jazeera. It is a simpe fact that Al Jazeera is a biased news organization. But you prefer to quote them directly, while pointing to an American news outlet for being biased in the opposite direction. This is hypocrisy, plain and simple.... and I called you out on it. That's all. You can avoid that point, and try to put words in my mouth all you like.... I don't particularly give a shit.

Like it has already been said.... this is war. Bad things happen in wars. Is that an excuse? No. We should always pursue and punish wrongdoers, even within our own ranks. But this is hardly a reasonable justification for the actions of terror organizations such as Hizbollah. They attack Israel, and hide behind their civilian shields.... thinking they should be immune from response. Israel has no choice but to respond. The civilian casualties which occured are every bit as much the responsibility of Hizbollah as they are the responsibility of Israel. There isn't any other way to see it.

Re: The religion of peace strikes again

dig, im only chiming in peacefully opn this one thing, the last line dave quoted about 400 innocents..

step away from moral rights and wrongs for a second, and think... who's fault was that really?

lets look at the facts,

 1. there was a standing peace between the nations.
 2. hezzbollah was firing the missles at isreal first, and THEY are the instigators who kidnapped two soldiers on isreali territory, not lebanese, therefore, they illegally went into a foreign country, and kidnapped military personel
 3. hezzbollah were the ones who held lebanese citizens hostage in thier own homes in order to fire off missles into and at isreal. they also fought the ground combat in surburban and urban areas.
 4. they STILL HAVE THE KID.

so what havent they brought upon themselves and neighbors?

IMO, its stilll BS that the world at large allows groups like hezzbollah and hamas to continue to act like this because they get themselves voted into power, if the US allowed a KKK member, or a member of the aryan nation into gov't while thier groups were attacking people unprovoked, there would be such an outrage internationally. i only used those groups as they are the violent extremes of white people in the US.

OK, found the piece it was from the Times Online - its long so I wont post it, but here's the link.

Totally debunks the Lancet report.

Katyusha rockets. Russian built.... but sent by Iran via Syria.

Re: The religion of peace strikes again

Is it easlier to bomb the Lebonese even though you KNOW the weapons, material support and funding come from Iran / Syria.
