Oh, the irony...

They are all adulterer's in my book.
Re: Newts trouser snake
here's what you'll hear:
"Newt Gingrich was having an affair at the very same time he was investigating Bill Clinton's relationship with Monica Lewinsky."
And here's the right way to report the story: "Newt Gingrich was having an affair at the very same time he was investigating weather or not Bill Clinton had committed perjury and obstructed justice."
Not quite that exciting a story when you tell it the right way, is it?
Re: Newts trouser snake
Dude, it's just posh language for diving into someone's private life. The affair was stupid, but the whole circus around it was off the charts, the whole impeachment procedure was IMO not in the least bit justified.
And if Gingrich was having an affair, then it IS hypocrisy to start an investigation against someone else who has one. If anything, there should have been an investigation against Newt G. too, with a possible job-loss in foresight as well.

it wasn't about his affair as much as it was that he perjured himself. Like Libby...remember? Having an affair is scandalous...but it's not impeachable. maybe toasty has a few thoughts on this?
Re: Newts trouser snake
but why start an investigation and dive into the whole matter to begin with? It should have been done and over with when he apologized to Hillary, it's a private matter IMO. This is something that should never ever have made it to court.
