That's kinda my point, though -- I kinda feel like the people in charge have forgotten about him (well, in fairness, not really forgotten, but more bumped down the priority list). Feel like we've taken our eye off the ball, and as the drumbeat continues to build for a confrontation with Iran, I can't help but be reminded of the fucker that got us all into this in the first place...
First things first.
I do get that the Pakistan thing complicates matters a lot, but we've already invaded a country for no good reason, what's one more for a good reason? Ok, just kidding about that... ;)
You have answered your own question....
Bin Laden is in Pakistan. Pakistan won't allow USA ground forces into their borders to search for him. They are telling us they will handle it. We don't have a choice in the matter, short of invading Pakistan... a nuclear power, as stated earlier.
Why is this such a difficult concept for liberals to grasp? They bemoan the war in Iraq, saying we invaded a sovereign nation... but then they want us to do that exact same thing in Pakistan.... (and in Sudan, for that matter) Hypocritical, isn't it?
