Yeah, I've heard quite a few stories about this too...but the media seem to be enamored with other things at the moment, ie. Anna Nicole Smith and Barack Obama not being a true African American, but an American born of African immigrants...go figure ;)

mccain and giuliani will be pushed aside, the G.O.P. will become more comfortable with Romney, and therefore, usher in 16 years of Democratic presidency.

I doubt there will ever be 16 years of the same party in the presidency ever again.
The way our system works now is this:
1 party gets control... people get fed up with them and then vote in the other party. Everybody's happy for a few years, but eventually get fed up again and the pendulum swings back.
Rinse.... Repeat. ;)

Flip-flopper. I can't trust a candidate who reinvents himself on key issues just to draw a voter base. Believe what you believe, and the people will choose who they want to represent them. Too bad because I think he would be great for the economy.
