I'm sure you're excited to see this. You, as far as I'm aware, have The Largest Hard-On In The Country for Dennis Kucinich:

Re: FAO Sightless

Dennis Kucinich is such a freakin' douche bag.

I swear, I just want to kick him in the nuts as hard as I can, repeatedly.

No way the Rep party will give him the nomination over McCain.

Re: FAO Sightless

actually jenks, from what i can tell, you would probably like the guy if you learned about him. i wanna say he is dead center, but he does lean left on social programmes, but his economic policy is very republican.

here is his NPAT http://vote-smart.org/npat.php?can_id=BC032003

the only gripe i have with DK is that he wants to increase taxation on ppl who earn over 150K, when they already pay 28% higher than the so called median income here. he hates rich people. but we wont let that happen. already paying out the ass, not giving more for stupid poor people and artists.

The top 1% of income earners in the USA pay over 50% of the total tax burden.

The rich are paying more of the total tax burden now, after the Bush cuts, than at any time in history. In addition, tax revenues are higher now than any time in history. Taxes rose so fast after the Bush cuts, that the deficit has been cut in half 3 years ahead of schedule.... and that's with a big turndown following 9/11, and 2 expensive wars.

It is mindblowing to think that some people think that tax hikes are good for the economy.
The top 1% of income earners in the USA pay over 50% of the total tax burden.
That is a true example of how statistics could tell you anything you want to hear...the only reason the top 1% is paying a higher share of the tax burden than they used to is because they're making significantly more income than they used to (especially as compared to the other 99%).
