personally, ill pu tit in the hands of the parents, as responsible parenting has gone by the wayside recently, but hey, there is a case from so many angles here.... from TV, marketing, doctors, civil rights law, equal opputunity laws for industry, a revamping of the US UCC, hey, the more you think, the more stakeholders there are in this debate.

I won't deny the influence of these things. But where has all the responsibility gone? Blame always falls on something or someone else.

Come on now? You can't even step outside your house without getting bombarded by ads that kids will no doubt look at and stare. May as well put a blindfold over your kid.

on behalf of humanity, please donthave kids. parental advice and tough love are the two biggest factors in child developement.

as john amos famously once said on TV, ""oh my kids understand they have options and consequences, and most of the time, the consequence in my belt."

its utterly amazing how children in mainland europe drink, and do it responsibly, but yet here in america, kids drink to excess and have severe problems. they are brought up with a healthy understanding of booze, and here, where it is taboo, kids drink to get out of control trashed as opposed to just having a good time.
