Re: FAO Non-Americans
what's incredibly funny is that Europe has been completely marginalized by Islam over the past three decades. It's become a vast colony that's slowly being devoured and assimilated.
I wouldn't call it funny but a serious problem. And the US better watch out before it happens here.

Re: FAO Non-Americans

isnt it sad that we (the collective US population that votes) have allowed ourselves to reach the point where we are asking the question ''who is worse, i gotta vote for the other?'' as opposed to finding out who is actually a good leader..... fuck you two party system.

I don't believe it will happen here in the United States for multiple reasons.

 1. Annual population growth and positive birth rates
 2. Strong and consistent economic growth
 3. Expanding Christian influence (I find this an incredible problem, but in this instance, it serves as an insulation from cultural upheaval)
 4. Strong Military Presence

Europe on the other hand has:

 1. negative population growth where Islam has nearly become the principle supplier of New Europeans
 2. weakening economic growth. Even despite the advantage of over 150 million MORE people, the collective GDP of the EU is around 25% lower than that of America. And the gap is forecasted to widen. The lax immigration laws which exist to curb this trend (ie greater worker force) has continued to bring vast numbers of Muslims from around to Europe.
 3. the inability to defend itself militarily, a result of creating the welfare state which in turn has incredibly complicated consequences. two of which are noted above.
 4. an Islamic successor population

This won't happen by next year. But the events of the last year...London and Mardid bombings, French Riots, the murder of Theo Van Gogh and the response to the Allah/Bomb cartoons, have certainly made a major impact on all European nations. This won't happen in twenty years, but the trends we see today began well over two decades ago. And as long as protests sterilize the efforts to remedy this, and they have in the past, well...I think we can come up with our own judgements about how things will turn out.

This is the second dumbest post of the month, btw.

Funny thing is..... I am registered democrat.

But I'm not a democrat at all. I only register that way so I can vote in their primary. It's almost like getting two votes. 8)

Re: FAO Non-Americans

I'm going to add something I read this morning from Opinion Journal Online. It's from Victor Hanson, who I don't necessarily share most political views with, but writes TODAY on, coincidentally, on the creation of Eurabia. Here's a clip:
Just imagine in our present year, 2006: plan an opera in today's Germany, and then shut it down. Again, this surrender was not done last month by the Nazis, the Communists, or kings, but by the producers themselves in simple fear of Islamic fanatics who objected to purported bad taste. Or write a novel deemed unflattering to the Prophet Mohammed. That is what did Salman Rushdie did, and for his daring, he faced years of solitude, ostracism, and death threats--and in the heart of Europe no less. Or compose a documentary film, as did the often obnoxious Theo Van Gogh, and you may well have your throat cut in "liberal" Holland. Or better yet, sketch a simple cartoon in postmodern Denmark of legendary easy tolerance, and then go into hiding to save yourself from the gruesome fate of a Van Gogh. Or quote an ancient treatise, as did Pope Benedict, and then learn that all of Christendom may come under assault, and even the magnificent stones of the Vatican may offer no refuge--although their costumed Swiss Guard would prove a better bulwark than the European police. Or write a book critical of Islam, and then go into hiding in fear of your life, as did French philosophy teacher Robert Redeker.
