English went live yesterday. Looks like the Amir is gonna take a stab at Ruper Murdocks empire. This should be very interesting. Al-Jazeera Arabic has had it's run ins, especially with a journalist who was caught trying to give money to an al-quaeda operative. But then again, our news sources aren't exactly clean.

I for one would be curious to see it, if only to see what the viewpoint is from that side of things. I don't see it becoming a serious part of how I get my news, but I do think it would be interesting. We don't get any media from that part of the world at all.
